+Shepard went into hiding because he did not want to take responsibility for illegally giving missiles to Farah Karim and ULF to combat Al-Qatala and Russian Incursions into Urzikstan and the fact he used Shadow Company to transport these missiles and caches of these missiles fell into Konni’s hand and he did not wanted to take responsibilities for his own actions by hiding it and not trying to find out where it went along with the fact that he tried to destroy the missiles so that they cannot be traced back to him
