Thank you for adding this video. After watching the video many times, I was finally able to learn how you made the channels through the center of the curved pieces on your chandeliers. Wow, the wine glasses where a wonderful surprise. I am a graduate in HVACR. I continued my study to earn a Residencial Electrician diplomacy as well. I am always interested in learning more. This video was very educational.

Tsars of Russia were using baccarat glasses only; it is heard that every time after drinking from this glass, the Tsar would throw the empty glass/goblet backwards to get it shattered; this was to make sure that nobody else drink from the glass from which the Tsar drank.
@winstonli80814 жыл бұрын
It’s myth. The Tsar has his own glasses labeled on occasions. While in normal settings he shared dinner ware with the rest of his family.

Amazing! One of my personal friends is one of eight Master Crystal Makers in the world. He created all of Waterford's colored crystal designs. It's an art form that I know nothing about yet if I want to learn it, I have a master nearby to teach it to me.

Baccarat is 34% lead. Waterford is 24% lead. The extra 10% lead of Baccarat makes it far more brilliant. Basic chemistry.
@colinmurphy22144 жыл бұрын
@@judynelson5038 You’ve got them switched around, Waterford is the one with higher lead content, not that that’s a particularly great thing

Waterford stopped being hand carved in 1999. The Waterford plant in Waterford, Ireland also closed down about 20 years ago. Waterford is not nearly as high quality as it used to be before they stopped hand carving the crystal. My parents started buying Waterford in the early 1960s(and stopped buying it around 1998) and the best stemware pieces they own are from the 1960s.
