One of my very favorite works of art ever. The genius of it makes me really emotional.

How much poorer this world would be had Bach never lived, had Bach never written the Brandenburg Concertos, had Petri never played the recorder. We are very lucky to have this treasure. Thank you for posting. The passage at 1:28 almost moves me to tears every time I hear it.

This is the best part in the whole composition. :) I never get bored of listening to different ensembles playing this section.

That violinist was so amazing! I loved it! Kudos to the amazing tone from the harpsichord! And of course the subtle tones of the recorder along with everyone else came together perfectly in this Baroque era piece!

The Brandenburg Concerto is one the finest compositions ever made. Bach is the greatest of all time.

I remember a photograph of Michala Petri as a teenager on the cover of Recorder and Music Magazine. Michala has no equal.

I envy anything Michala Petri does. She is the most talented recorder I've ever heard.

@pildskadden Being the virtuossi Petri is, I wonder if the one who should be honored is the conductor. Not every day a musician of her stature is born! I love her artistry since quite a few years. She is always brilliant!

The audience did not properly appreciate this performance. They should be standing up and cheering.

c'e' un altoparlante per i flauti? se la risposta e' no, allora perche' poi son scomparsi nel tempo? is there a loudspeaker for the recorders? if not, why did they disappear in time?
