Love the focused Sound and character ! What's the bore size? It definitely sounds like a medium bore...

Hi - It's actually a large .462" bore although Georgie did feel it didn't 'feel' as large as that.

After reading about bores on Trumpet Herald, I've gotten the impression that the bore is only one factor that affects the sound and feel. It's kind of frustrating that the bore can't be isolated as having a predictable effect, but hey.

Why didn't they put a reverse lead pipe on it like so many other high end trumpets?

The notes slot differently with a reverse leadpipe.

They put a standard leadpipe on it, like all the other non reverse lead high end trumpets 👍
