I really like this interpratation of this prelude in opposite to common crazy tempo like Gould plays and even with tempo marked at sheet music.

I wouldn't say any of Gould's interpretations are "Common," lol. He is very disliked for the way he played some pieces, as they were so different from the usual, and so different (probably) from how the composers imagined them.

Is this the correct interpretation of the trills in the fugue...? I watched the Richter-recording of this fuga a while ago on youtube, when I started leaning it. He played it differently and I assumed then he got it correct, but now I'm in doubt...

there are no right and wrong in interpretations, is about one's aesthetic, as long as the interpretations are not too far away from the style of the period ;DD

Schiff’s interpretations of Bach are always very slow. His tempo here in the prelude was my practice tempo. The fugue was closer. The tempi I learned in college were nearly spot on with Richter. Each to his own, however.
