I think this is starting to push the upper limits of how sharp a fifth Bach's music can adapt to without added conversion work -- not bad, but a bit edgy.

17-edo does surprisingly well, indeed 🙂I suspect that's due to its major third being close to 9/7.

@@ClaudiMeneghin More like 23/18. Both 9/7 and 23/18 can sound good in the right context. But 9/7 is a strange case, because although you can get it almost just by going even sharper to 22EDO, it is 8 increments of 22EDO, which means that 4 increments of 11EDO works, and thus any integer multiple of 11EDO works (but the fifth is either really sharp or really flat until you get to 55EDO).
