what stuns me, is the complexity and beauty of the piece... in popular culture, its known as a piece for scary movies, but it was written as a church piece. An offering to God.

Bach was underrated believe it or not. I one gives him his true credit, which is he not only utilized harmonic minor 300 years before heavy metal bands of the 2000s ( besides malmsteen and some others) but he was THE ancestor of jazz. I’m sorry to say but current history is incorrect. African Americans didn’t come up with jazz and blues at all. If they want to say they did they must say it was from Bach. If you don’t like ” colonization” of music like whites using black song then don’t let one race do it then. Bach create djazz before jaz too. Sure it was trumpet or trad jazz exactly but he used tritone subs way before Charlie Parker’s great great great great great great grandfather was born. He also he used jazz cadences before they were created. He used counterpoint they see in jazz, etc. it was all from bach. Blues, metal, jazz , it all comes form bach but current woke culture and before work culture will never admit that a white German was the greatest musical mind that will ever exist, greater than everyone else. Bach is 1000 Mozart and still surpasses. Why you ask? Because bach was so pure and so imbued by the genius tone of nature he created at one point, the nexus for all and every music that will ever exist because his music holds the key firmament of which any music may come from, from his pure tone, bach created all. -straight from my heart. If you have a brain you share this truth, for the seekers of darkness and lie will spread lies to destroy the other, the truth will shine in its original color

It's stupid, but this always brings me back to the original Castlevania... I grew up the son of a classical pianist and a huge folk aficionado. My mother had the (seemingly) entire K catalog on vinyl and would listen daily. My first intro to musical Mashup was the Hookd on Classics tapes. My music teacher thought I was a child prodigy when she would play a piece of a symphony and I would finish it by humming the rest. My firm grounding in classical AND folk open an incredible world to me. It gave me the ability to appreciate a widely varying range of musical endeavor. From Dr Dre to Daft Punk, Alabama to Iron Maiden, Bob Dylan to Chris Stapleton, Deep Forrest to Jan Garbarek, and the ever mellow Strunz and Farrah... anyone who says that music and fictional literature aren't necessary to human existence are sub human at best...
