BIM is half IT and half management. CSIT is Computer Science with IT and somewhat similar to that of Software Engineering course. If you’re from science background and want to continue your career with programming, the better option would be CSIT. You still can be programmer if you take BIM. But you can also go into management in IT sector with this degree. So, eventually the choice is yours.

The curriculum structure of BIM is intensely focused on computer and IT. After passing this course, you can foray into lot of sectors, including government jobs. You will be eligible for the criteria of "computer officer" as prescribed by Public Service Commission (Lok Sewa Aayog) with a salary of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 47,500.
