if you have a four years bcom hons course and you do co op of 8 months will it be added and the course be of 4.8 months or will it be done simultaneously with the studies and if its 4.8 months then do you have to pay tuition fee for the additional 8 months as much as regular annual fees? someone please reply

Registered Nurse (RN) is a 4-yr bachelor degree; Registered Practical Nurse (RPN; or LPN in other provinces) is a 2-yr degree. After graduation, one must pass NCLEX exam and be licensed by The College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) to work in Ontario hospitals. CNO does not deal with immigration. There is a big pay differential between RN and RPN. For Canadians, only RN qualifies to work in USA through USMCA agreement, not RPN/LPN.

@@Jashandeep_Kaur As Canadian and RN, you can apply for RN license with a State. This is usually not a problem because both countries recognize NCLEX-RN exam. With state license, then you can apply for jobs in US hospitals in that State. With job offer, education & experience credentials at hand, you can apply for TN-1 visa in US-Canada border or international airport for about $60. TN-1 visa is a 3-yr, non-immigration visa that can be renewed as many times as necessary. Some RN's live in Windsor, Ontario, and commute to Detroit hospitals to work.

Not all Canadian universities recognize 3-yr bachelor degrees. In Canada, master degrees are usually 2-yrs. Apply to master degrees related to your bachelor degree of study.

Public colleges (CEGEP) in Quebec are prep schools for universities. In Quebec, high school completes in Grade 11, followed by 2 years of CEGEP, then 3 to 4 years of university. Thus, CEGEP diploma is like high school diploma in other provinces.
