They used Art from Books,Tags, other media since Bachmann gained the license in 2001 so HiT owned Thomas at the time and they got some Artwork from the media. I have no idea why they didn't do the faces from the show. (P.S if you wanna see that art them search up: "Best Of Thomas DVD" and them just compare it.)
