fun fact. Bryce, the Voice actor for Stolas sang the owl in a cage song all in one shot with basically no editing. He felt it was important it sounds very raw and emotional.

I don't think that this show will necessarily ignore the cast members... However, there's a reason why it's called "Helluva Boss", you know? I feel like it's clear that this is a show about Blitzo. Blitzo, and his relationships with other people. His relationship with his employees, his relationship with his adopted daughter, his ties to past relationships like Verosika, an ex girlfriend, or even his past best friend, Fizz. Naturally, this makes Stolas very relevant too. Like Blitzo, Stolas' character is all about relationships. His father was a terrible man, he was forced to marry someone who hates him, and even struggles to manage his relationship with his own daughter due to the stress of what's happening now. Both Blitzo, and Stolas - equally struggle to maintain relationships. Blitzo can be sociable, but pushes away the ones he loves. Stolas is too isolated, but desperately wants those connections. When you think about it this way, about how the show itself revolves around relationships... Is it really that surprising that Stolas has a larger role in this series? That said, it doesn't mean the other cast won't be involved (after all, we've got many more episodes to see over time!), just that Blitzo's relationship with Stolas has been a huge part of the plot since... Well, the entire beginning? I mean, he wouldn't even have the grimoire in the first place if not for Stolas. (Probably the only weird argument people have with this episode is the idea of their relationship being ret-conned, despite the fact that they use the pilot as an example, even though pilots are.... Pilots. Of course things can be different. Heck, we HAVE an episode 1. It's pretty clear the pilot itself wasn't episode 1).

Notes and thoughts in chronological order because again, I'm lazy to put in time stamps: > The mansion looks like Stolas' own, but with Paimons insignia on it, this mansion might have been a hands down to Stolas once he has come of proper age > That at the background looks like the same bathtub that we see at Ep.1, albiet just smaller > Baby Stolas Portaits. The imp doll that he cuddled in bed and is cuddling in the portraits might have signified that he already had a fascination with imps at a young age > Paimon is confirmed to have multiple children, might also mean that he has multiple wives > The girl on the tight rope looks like a young Barbie Wire, might be Blitzo's twin sister, don’t know > Interesting note is that, a lot of the circus imps have the same mark on their foreheads, would probably indicate that they are a group and not just a family crest that some people have theorized > Here, we see Blitzo's dad have a heavy favoritism towards Fizzarolli rather than his own son, to the point that he's willing to sell Blitzo for 5 dollars and a condom > Hooo boy, I have thoughts about the conversation between Blitzo and Fizzarolli, for me at least, this scene might be a really big RED FLAG. Why? This might be a hint on how Fizzarolli may have lost his limbs. Let's break down the interactions between the two balloon horses. The worm horse lost its legs in the "great pirate war", worm horse fought back against its assailants, the worm horse tried to run away, only to be caught up by said assailants, leading to them taking worm horse's limbs. Next banana pudding helps worm horse feel better, then apparently more blood. Now why do I think this might be a RED FLAG? Let's think for a bit, the story might be over-dramatized, but here are my thoughts, Blitzo and Fizzarolli in some way got into a fight, not with each other but with other people. My speculation is that the "great pirate war" might have been a rival circus. Maybe jealous of Fizzarolli's rising fame. Getting pushed back, Blitzo and Fizzarolli runs away, fleeing the fight. The assailants somehow caught up to them or just Fizz and proceeded to chop him up and take his limbs. That or maybe a burning tent of some sort, falling debris leading to pinned and broken limbs. OR, they were doing a performance act, and then accidents then falling debris leading to pinned and broken limbs. After everything, Blitzo wanting to help his friend picks him up and tries to leave, somewhere there, an accident might have occurred causing Blitzo to have a white scar on the right side of his face, hence more blood. > When Blitzo’s dad was pulling him away from Fizzarolli, you could see in the background a family portrait of Blitzo and Barbie Wire, their dad Cash Buckzo, and their mom Tilla > Side note, a lot of people mistake Blitzo and Fizzarolli as brothers, I’m just going to say that they’re not, in the background of episode 4 in the IMP building, a picture frame on the wall shows an advertisement for the “Amazing Imp TWINS”, and the twin is a twin sister, so no, FIzzarolli and Blitzo are not brothers, the mark on their foreheads is a circus mark as all the performers in the circus have them. > Cash Buckzo guilt tripping and gaslighting > I like the way how Stolas sits, really cute > Background music is the occasion bgm that we hear whenever the IMP gang are doing their work, only this one is more childish at heart > BGM is now the BGM of Ep.7 outro but more happy[???] > Happy Pills, Don't do drugs kids > The Hellhound Doberman[??] on the left is wagging his tail > Rose-colored lenses > Doberman[??] boi is sad now > The contrast of the 2 paintings is stunning > My god, music bops > Someone in twitter apparently already had already translated this, long story short, Asmodean Crystals are used by succubi and incubi in order to traverse into the Overworld or Earth, maybe Stolas would be planning to give Blitzo one for his company while he takes back his book in order to cut ties from Blitzo. > Stolas has been physically abused so much that he already knows the trajectory of that slap > Might have missed a lot of things but oh well…

Without going into details, having seen episodes two and three of the second season you've got nothing to worry about. The next episode still involves Stolas but he is definitely not the only focus, while the third episode is focused on other members of the I.M.P. crew. I just found your channel last night and binged all of your Vivziepop reactions and I can't wait to see your reactions to the next couple episodes! Also, I absolutely love and adore all of the pop culture references you make that date you, since they date me as well. I didn't grow up on Nickelodeon, so a lot of those I don't get as well, but half the time I'm sitting here going "I got that reference!" at your references. Anyways, I subscribed so I can make sure not to miss when you post the next episode's reaction and I hope you keep creating content because you're a lot of fun to watch.

It was a flash back explaining a lot of his past since his relationship with blitzo is important and probably the reason why Stella is shaping up to be the series main antaganist. A single episode revolving around another character doesn't make it focus only them going forward. Everyone will be back in the next one which is already out as well. The next ones a little more light hearted goofiness with a nice feel good moment at the end.

Well Stolas is a fan favorite and this episode was probably focused on Stolas because the season 1 finale would have been focused on Blitzø. There's so much backstory in this episode I love it 😄 I especially enjoyed seeing how Blitzø and Fizzarolli were such good friends.

In case you were wondering, the book Stolas was reading was about Asmodean crystals which is what Stolas has in his Grimoire and also what succubus like Blitzo’s ex Verosika use to travel to Earth. Someone on Reddit translated the page. The implication here is that Stolas feels guilty because Blitzo pointed out he never seemed to care about him beyond sex, and that Stolas might be considering ending their friends with benefits deal by GIVING Blitzo a new way to get to Earth. Heather he’s doing so to apologize or because he wants to remove the leverage he has over IMP due to his book so they can attempt a proper relationship is unknown so far. But it’s a popular fan theory that seems to hold water especially with the revelation that Stolas’ crush on Blitzo began when they were both children.

As revealed in the end credits, Stolas' father is Paimon. Unlike in the show, he is usually depicted as a man riding a camel. While different works credit him with different titles, in the Ars Goetia (the demenology from real life which forms the basis for a lot the high ranking demons in this show), he is one of the nine kings of hell, the same rank Asmodeus holds, too. Though since he does not represent any of the 7 Deadly Sins, I think it's likely that, while being a high ranking demon, he is not on the same level as Asmodeus in this show, as well (but that's just a theory for now). He is usually portrayed as being highly knowledgeable about the world. In some versions, he can even see the past and the future. Lastly, he is said to be quite loyal towards Lucifer.
@The1nvisibleJeevas2 жыл бұрын
Paimon historically isn't just a dude on a camel, he's a *very effeminate dude* on a camel, and I love it. Like, it's explicitly part of his description.

You say "this show is a lot more Stolas centric than I thought it was gonna be" as if we didn't get another Stolas centric episode near the start of the series with season 1 episode 2. Stolas was always gonna be an important character and I find it kinda odd that you're only just now picking up on that. As far as Moxie and Millie coming back goes, I don't know why you'd ever assume they're gone just cause the focus isn't on them for a few episodes. Just because one main character's got the spot light in the moment doesn't mean it won't circle back to other main characters later. It's simply that Stolas and Blitzo currently have significantly more drama going on right now, which makes for easier (and arguably better) story telling. Keep in mind that the show is called Helluva Boss, not I.M.P.. It makes sense that the primary focus of the show would be on the title character (Blitzo) and his relationships, which in turn means providing insight into what those relationships look like from the perspective of the other person, so it's only natural we'd get episodes, and possibly a full on arc, focusing on Stolas, especially where it impacts his relationship with Blitzo.

Honestly, I feel like this episode got too much hate. It's not a "perfect" episode, but it's still good. Maybe I'm just biased 'cause I've been looking forward to see more of what Blitzo & Fizz were like when they were younger, as well as what their relationship was like before things obviously went south. And we got a taste of that in this episode.
@druidnoodles Жыл бұрын
Stolas is A prince of hell, not THE prince of hell. It's an important distinction. Lucifer is the King of all of Hell, and that makes Charlie the princess of all of Hell. Stolas, his father, and the rest of the Goetic demons are royalty of a sort, but are below Lucifer in power and status. They serve under him.

Millie and Moxxie were not in this ONE episode and you seemed to think they would never return...? They had a huge nice B-plot last episode dude. I gotta be honest you called yourself "tolerant" about a silly gag joke about two gay dudes (gay and pan) followed by you wanting to...question the writers like they're predators?? You seem kinda genuinely uncomfortable about the gay scenes, even just the incubi hitting on Moxxie in s1ep3 Spring Broken, yet seem fine when the straight characters act lovey dovey and make out on screen. This is a gay romance heavy series. The second episode of the show pretty clearly showed us Stolas was a huge part of things, and him & Blitz's relationship is pretty important. Not to mention another gay couple with two guys that becomes important this season. Moxxie is also Bisexual idk if that would be uncomfy. Millie, Moxxie, and Loona still matter but the mc is actually Blitzø and his love life is a pretty big part of it so if you'd be struggling to *tolerate* it then thats sad idk man
