We are back for the day!!! The original goonzquad garage is actually our parents house, where the channel all started. Me and my brother started from scratch and with some hardwork, dedication and some massive support from you guys, we were able to make it to an amazing place in our lives. The windows actually go down when the battery dies. This is a preventative measure because there is no frame around the window. It's a vw/audi system. Mini cooper has frameless windows as well but not sure if they drop down when the battery dies. The window goes up into the rubber seal to keep water out and when you go to open the door it slides out of the seal. If it did not drop out of the seal when you go to close it the glass will shatter. When you put a new battery in, the windows might go all the way down and not want to come back up all the way, to fix this you need it to relearn the bottom position. Press the window down button and when it reaches the bottom keep holding the button down for 5 seconds. Then the window should go all the way to the top when you press it up.

My 2010 Mustang has this feature. A lot of late 2000's cars with frameless windows have it now. Not just reserved for BMWs and VW/Audis.

I own a VW and the above ment method is correct, you got to keep the button held up on the up position as well when it reached the top. You'll also hear some clicking noises at the respective positions from the Door Control Units (which also control the windows)

The scroll compressor is the quietest type of air compressor out there, but its also expensive and one of the more difficult types to manufacture. Volkswagen used the same type of compressor as a supercharger in the late 80s or so on the Corrado, they called it the G-Lader. The radiator on it is because it fills so quickly that the air gets hot, so it needs to cool it down much like an air-to-water intercooler in a high performance vehicle, but the motor also gets very warm due to the strain of turning the compressor so fast so its likely that radiator fan is engineered to pull air over the motor cooling fins during operation to help keep temperatures well below any bad heat levels. Its a damn good compressor, I'll say!

@@chilledkiwi4012 Its a design called a Twin Screw Supercharger. It has two screw-like impeller-thingies that suck air in the front and push it back and upwards into a chamber where the high pressure air falls through two heat exchangers to cool down the air before it can enter the cylinders. Most modern supercharged vehicles are intercooled, even the Corrado had one (even though it was pathetically small). On the Hellcat, the supercharger is cooled by its own small air to water cooling system, and on the Dodge Demon that system is boosted via the A/C to cool the intake air even more for higher horsepower.

Hey Guys... Here's a suggestion for you; when you build the circle drive with a helipad in the middle on the new property, be sure to carefully design into it a way to pull the R22 to & from the helipad easily into a dedicated place within the new garage you're building between the two houses. I'm sure you'll be using the R22 a lot once you get your pilot certifications. Peace!

Yes I am glad you guys purchased an Audi S7 sport back!!! Hey if you have any questions I have an S4 with the same motor and I have a lot of upgraded parts like: ecs dual pulley, IE cold air, stage 2 tune from IE, magnaflow cat back, ECS slotted and drilled 2 piece rotors front and rear, Toyo all season tires, RS grill and mine is manual. Ordering uppercharge throttle body and test pipe are my next to purchase!

Finally a 3.0T on goonzquad! please do at least a stage 1 tune on ECU and TCU by flashing it yourself! Consider Integrated Engineering for this! it really enhances the car! If this car is really for your sister, and has above 55 000 miles do some preventive maintance, like Waterpump, thermostat and the PCV just to make sure everything is fine. Check the upper chain tenioners on cold start, in case it rattles more then 1-3 seconds and is very loud consider changing then, i'm 100% sure you can do this by yourself. If the car has some rattleing around 1500 upm the flexpipes on the downpipes are shot, be careful with aftermarket exhausts, some of them may drone quite a bit. An intake bringes you a since supercharger whine btw. The engine in this A7 is a CERC Type, which means its got a magnetic coupling for the supercharger, as from what i know there is currently no aftermarket pully available for that and therefore only stage 1s available. Really looking forward to the build. Got an A6 Allroad 3.0T :))

I have a Q5 3.0 L TDI and it has been virtually maintenance free for 7 years. Needed to do the brakes at 90k kilometers and because of the VW/Audi Dieselgate I am paying for my first service after 7 years in about 2 weeks as it came with 4 years of Audi Care and they tacked on an additional 2 years of Audi Care in the settlement (as well as giving me back a bunch of cash). By far the best vehicle I have ever owned (I am 53) and I will keep it for another couple years before I replace it.

Car tricks that’s ridiculous, how can they state it’s got keys, show a picture of them. Then give you the car without them and say well it’s not our problem. I bet if these dudes kicked up a fuss they would do something. Especially with all the publicity they have given Copart and following they have.

Mark Rogers you’d think so but it’s in the fine print of the members agreement that they don’t guarantee keys even if offered for sale with keys because they had and still have an issue with people going too look at cars under the cover of pre bid inspections and stealing the keys to sell but like you say because of who they are Copart might mate an exception for them

There’s some people out there who take the keys like Car Tricks said, in hopes no one will want it when they figure out the keys are missing. It’s a shady move to prevent people who look at cars in person from bidding too high on it

Its an awd. If you were wondering, Audi’s awd system is QUATTRO, (Italian for 4). Hence the Quattro badge on the trunk, dashboard, and front grille.

Yep, with this new rule, they should remove the YES/NO box for the "got keys" part of the description. That won't be a great help but it would save others being ripped off like this. Kinda tricky to put a price on a set of keys for a damaged, secondhand car?

I would have sent the car back and have my bank undo the payment because it was fraud. A set of two keys is over $1000. If the scammers say it wasn't, they would lose in court.

It did have a key with it, that is why there’s a long zip tie around the steering column. If you look at it you can see the little ring that the key used to be on but someone took it off at copart or the driver who delivered the car.

Copart...the free You Pick Your Part auction dealer. Show up to pickup your car and start picking parts off other cars...damn dude what a deal, I just nabbed an Audi key that I can put on ebay for an easy 500 bucks. Copart sucks. So I guess if you buy from Copart you better be onsite because everything on their lot becomes a free LKQ site. Hell LKQ frisk you when you leave to make sure you pay for every bolt and fender clip you take off the car.

Hello greetings from Germany. The Quattro stands for AWD. Audi builds the best AWD-Systems, its make a lot of fun to drive with it. It is better to start the engine before everything is finished. So you can see if the engine is damaged that you can't see.
