It was a fantastic backcountry trip. We didn't see anyone at all on the 3 hour hike to the campsite and we had the lake to ourselves for the first night. You can't beat that.

My family owns a cabin up in northern Georgia and we all go up there to enjoy thanksgiving together. Watching you and your wife walk these trails reminds me so strongly of going on nature hikes every morning with my sister. I haven't been home for thanksgiving for 3 years (going on 4) so thanks for a great video. It felt like I was reliving those memories.

OH.. My family love hiking so.much and this place where are with your wife is simply awesome. The creek is soo pretty. That must have been a long hike. Nature is indeed the best. It is where you can contemplate and feel hiw blessed you are to be around trees and birds. I really enjoy this video.. so refreshing.. thank you so much... Oh the Lake is beautiful. Definitely Canada is now in my bucket list...Here we have wild pigs that would chase us and where you are would be bears..haha

It was a 2 and a half hour hike to our campsite. We have another backcountry camping trip to this same park this may that will be an 3 and a half hour hike to our campsite. We are looking forward to it. We are debating on whether to bring our dog with us on that one.

Your videos really bring me back to when I used to travel with my stepmother. Had I not had her in my life, I'd probably never have seen some of the places around the U.S. places like the Grand Canyon, and Northern Illinois, where she was from originally. Unfortunately though I lost her back in January, and it's times like these that we will always remember with our loved ones. Thank you for sharing this. Sorry didn't mean to get all sampathic.

Yes it is harder to hike with a little one, but not impossible. Just start off on shorter easy trails. Getting your kids out young in nature is the best thing you can do with them. It gives them a love for it.

Most of the hiking is within a 2 - 3 hour drive from our home. The travel videos are a different story. We never get out as much as we would like. Something always comes up. It is definitely tougher to get out with the lockdown restrictions.
