I think kumo/kataguri will have a spiderman/symbote struggle. We're kumo struggles to forcibly remove the nomu cloud matter around his body to regain control only to die later revealing the nomu matter was the only thing keeping him alive. And during the end of the fight said nomu matter would gather and merge to shigaraki or spinner and warp away

My favorite part of this chapter is how loyal Spinner is to Shigaraki and that's some growth in a way. Initially Spinner only joined the LOV because of Stain, but there he's become somewhat of an interesting character especially regarding we don't know much about him other than the fact he was discriminated against society.

Horikoshi once said that he's not a fan of happy endings so I think shirakumo won't come back from AFO's control and brainwashing for all the years he's lost, and this is why we have heroes like the punisher and Red Hood even Peacemaker who kills Villians for the sake of others so they won't break out of jail to kill more people like AFO did so keeping him alive was a mistake, I seriously don't know how is Izuku still is going to *save* Tomura after all the people he's killed including characters like midnight and star and stripes even Kacchan who's still been dead for months now. That's my opinion

I still think Nomu Bakugo is on the table. Which would be an INCREDIBLY heartbreaking round 3. But since he’s not a proper corpse, he’ll be able to break out. (And I’m also REALLY hoping for the poetry of Bakugo being wheelchair bound and becoming the “Deku” after its all over.) Shirakumo? One last moment of peace of the guy at MOST. Maybe a “It’s good to see you again. But you GOTTA put me down” kinda moment. Tenko I predict similarly. But much more building a relationship with Deku and not saying goodbye to an old one. And once it’s established. He’s weeded out enough for Tenko to want AND trust Deku to end the pain of being AFS. Multipersonalities like these scenarios is a tough thing to consider.

Kurogiri is going to get freed and I think it'll take kurogiri getting to the main battlefield and seeing aizawa almost dead (or worse dead, hopefully not) and that is what may finally pull him back through, even if only for moments

Kurogiri will just save AFO/Shigaraki from UA Fortress but Shigaraki will say he’s not leaving without OFA which means he will capture Deku along with him to escape and he will blow up UA Fortress to cause it to fall and crash into the ocean 🌊 and it will explode after landing

At this point, mentioning Midnight’s death might be the only thing that can wake Shirakumo up from within Kurogiri. After all, he has a crush on her and I highly suspected that Aizawa and Present Mic will definitely know of this.

I find it funny how Mike did not think about saying that to wake him up. I also find it insulting how midnight wasn’t in the flashback scene of the chapter with mic and Aizawa. I mean in vigilante manga she cried her eyes out when she found out that Shirakumo was dead

That is what I was thinking as well because as we have heard from Aizawa, Shirakumo is the type of person who would help a kitten even though others gave up on it. If there is one thing the two have in common is that they will protect Shigiraki.

Then, Kurogiri would be just as likely to "protect" him from the heroes as he would AFO since both sides are trying to manifest a different entity. Technically speaking, though, protection is at least a logical step in the process of saving. You have to become the barrier between the one being saved and what they are being saved from in order to save them. Even throwing a life line to a drowning person so that they can save themselves is technically protecting them from absolute helplessness, as you are intervening in the natural progression of events.

You're likely right. The Star and Stripe fight set us up for this. New Order couldn't stop him because he wasn't "Tomura Shigaraki" anymore. Deku is fighting to save Shigaraki as we speak. The fact that he uses Shirakumo's first person pronoun tells us that we're not looking at Kurogiri. We're looking at a hero. (Or at least hinting that it will eventually play out that way.)

In terms of shirakumo kurogiri is actually using his first person pronoun in the I am the one who protects tomura shigaraki usually he uses Watashi but in this instance he uses shirakumo first person pronoun which is ore I'm actually certain his Fight againsts his nomu programming you can see some of shirakumo face and certain parts of his body are visible He isn't even calling himself Kurogiri anymore he first said I am Kurogiri the protecter of tomura shigaraki in the interrogation and when he wakes up year he doesn't use the name Kurogiri

This chapter is full of twists I both prepared for, and wasn’t at all prepared for. The way the mob cools off and gets truly terrified but what they’ve done was a genuine surprise for me. Just because mobs like that can be so beyond logic. And I’m so happy it stopped before anyone got lost to it all. Course if there were a statement that gets you to stop and think, it would be “Don’t be rational.” If I ever heard those words shouted at me, I would KNOW right then and there I was in the wrong place doing the wrong thing. And I wouldn’t hesitate to stop someone nearby either. The grey areas of this show are genuinely amazing. Even the freakiest of villains I can stop and sympathize with because they really are monsters for only a moment. They aren’t beyond reason. And for Rocklock to realize using force against them was never going to work (at least on the mob itself), and the police line immediately trusted the crowd in many ways to turn around and start moving towards Spinner. And giving them that trust instead of using the reinforcements to arrest the crowd was a VERY smart move. There’s only 2 villains here. The liberation commander and Spinner. Spinner getting torn apart and even questioning his OWN “call to action” from season 2 was surprising considering his mind at the moment. And without the specific order recording from AFO and Shigaraki, (don’t know if that means AFS recorded or what. Maybe recorded before Shigaraki got AFO? That leaves things to the decisions of AFO or Shigaraki. And now I have to wonder what was done to that hand. Because it’s DEFINITELY not just a “decoration” anymore. That HAS to be Nana’s hand that survived the Deika city destruction used then and now. Simply from an OFA hand I guess. I can’t think of why else. Nana is the part of the family that could make a difference to Shigaraki that’s for sure. She didn’t betray anyone. But the fact that hand woke up Shigaraki a LOT more as AFS (AFO controlled) and Kurogiri more as Kurogiri than Shirakumo has to have more to it. Which FASCINATES me. That Doctor makes some bonkers stuff. Present Mic doesn’t even know what to do with Kurogiri himself. That IS his friend in there, but overpowering that conditioning when he’s one of the best Nomu ever made is no small feat. And I think only Eraser and Mic together can break through it. Maybe have one last moment of Shirakumo being alive before he proper passes on if they take that route. And if you say impossible, if Tenko is still a sentient consciousness that can be reached, he very well could proper surface. Tomura Shigaraki DID take the moment to address Hana before waking up with AFO. And his mother. There’s a lot of possibility with these warped personalities. Even if they ultimately have to die. And we still have to talk about the reorganization of Heroes and Villains. I will continue to say the final battles will not be what we’ve been seeing entirely. Even if Kurogiri is frozen in place with Aizawa and Present Mic trying to break through his programming, MAYBE a bit of fighting too, the reshuffle happens 1st. We KNOW villains will be freed. I’m going to keep stating how I think the reshuffle will play out. Because it does make sense to me as the best narrative choice. For the AFS field, I think Monoma will be removed, and I get the hunch AFO will be put in. Which will force All-Might to action. Deku as 1 OFA can’t fight 2 AFO’s no matter what the split personality is of AFS is occurring. I think of the villains freed, we already know Mr. Compress will comeback. Machia and Redestro with him seem like the best choices to free. I had Muscular on the brain, but at this point no one really gains anything fighting him and he’d be 1 shot by any of the main characters. (Hopefully Lady Nagant and Gentle make reappearances. And I get the hunch Overhaul will too. We’ll see what’s changed but I just don’t see Nagant being so forgotten.) Dabi I’m STILL hoping will be the full Todoroki family facing him. And he awakens ice. I just REALLY need that to happen. He’ll likely be warped to Endeavor and Shoto gives chase. And I REALLY wanna see Rei, Natsuo, and Fuyumi do something. (And if they all protect Endeavor holy crap the character development.) They already take the “we will always be family” to the NEXT level. And that would be the ultimate test. Since Monoma HAS to be warped away for AFS to get off the ground, the question is where would he go. I’d vote to Toga. And I STILL think Uraraka has to go save her man. I think she’s the best shot to stop decay. I just REALLY wanna see copy vs copy. That’s just too fun of an idea. And I will continue to hold out the Toga family changed their name to Monoma. If Redestro is freed, I’m hoping that’s where Stain appears and Iida shows up with a new quirk gear. Reciproburst, Reciproturbo, Recipro…lift-off? I don’t know. I just need class rep to represent. And the liberation leader facing the biggest stick in the mud and the status quo breaker who actively CONFLICTS with complete fall of hero society makes the most sense. I originally thought Nezu would fit here, but I won’t say where he would fit til he ACTUALLY turns villain. Which SHOULD happen but I can’t count on. They haven’t even addressed him being a red herring so I’m still holding out. Just remember AFO couldn’t have known All-Might was going to teach at UA without intel from staff. And that staff that could is VERY limited. As in ONLY Nezu. Now that Vlad King is officially no longer a suspect for me with the color design of Midnight’s killer revealed. (Yes I know it already wasn’t likely but it couldn’t get out of my head.) We haven’t even SEEN how Midnight’s killer will truly fight the kids. That fight shouldn’t be touched. Aoyama vs the assassin shouldn’t be touched. Have those fights play out as they are. I WANT Aoyama to survive but I have no clue if he would. I want to fit more in my prediction, but the only other thing I got is Machia should be the opener to AFO vs All-Might. Have Machia rampaging through a forest and have All-Might 1-shot him to announce his return. That would be GLORIOUS. I am here to protect my son you sons of-- Can I count on everything happening this way? No. But this is the best narrative choice I can come up with. Nomu Bakugo is still possible, and even if he survives proper, having him be the “Deku” and be wheelchair bound for the rest of his life would be the BIGGEST karma ever. We will see what plays out. Horikoshi I can’t wait to see it.

This chapter reminds me how much I love the League of Villains. They all have such differing motivations instead of just being loyal to a boss. Some of the people would give up everything for a cause or a person (Spinner), others are in it for themselves (Dabi and Toga) but even then aren't willing to do the exact same things in pursuit of their own goals (Dabi would kill everything just to take out his family, Toga would cut down people but wouldn't necessarily kill the one she loves... Until her madness and pain tips her over the edge), and even the new leader is in this middle state between "reform society as AFO wants" and "wreak destruction to let everyone feel my pain".

It honestly feels tacked on by this point. If you want to watch a series that covers such topics, then there is a "new" series that continues a classic Kamen Rider show called Kamen Rider Black Sun, a continuation of Kamen Rider Black.
