My heart is full listening to you both. My mom is suffering from cancer and dementia. Her final days are being spent at home in Hospice. She used to sing this and Sunshine to me when I was little. I sing it to her now. 🥹 Thank you for keeping the great John Denver and all of our memories alive.

This is second John Denver song I have heard ya'll sing and I said it before and I have to say it again I swear I hear John singing harmony with ya'll, maybe it is because I have heard these songs a 1,000 times before. But what ever it is ya'll sound GREAT.

Excellant job on this beautiful song. I agree with you that it may be John Denver's best. To me this is one of those rare songs that instantly paints a picture in my mind. I really wish that my voice were more suited to this song. I would love to be able to sing it like you two just did......Terry

The more I listen to Paul's voice (going on a fan for 2 years now) the more I realize he sounds like...Paul Larson! Imagine that! He covers the others so well because of his warm tone and exceptional control. I can see why it's easy to say he sounds like somebody else, but the truth is he really doesn't if you listen. He's an original voice in a club with a very limited membership.

Apart from the excellent voices, guitars, arrangement, harmony, and all the rest, I really like the way Kappa keeps her face plain and looking away from camera until the line, "the light in your eyes..." at which point she lights her eyes up and looks at the camera !! I've listened to John Denver sing this dozens of times and the way Paul uses vibrato and a clear tone is perfect. Loved it !!

Well that song brought back memories. I was always a big fan of John Denver, being a youngster growing up in the 70's, I think most of us were. Songs like this always reminds me of my Dad coming home from the long hauls he use to do. I always remember how happy I was when he get back home back in those days.
