Sir, I just needed to learn this fast and furious for a sit in gig with a band, I could of definitely just got it down to the recorded studio song, but this made it much more easy, and what's more, you broke it down and give the detail on every part. (even the C sharp instead of A part, when the guitar plays A and the bass plays the C sharp in the verses) Some of these instructional videos, online, teach you totally wrong parts, it's almost like they weren't even trying to match the actual song in places, and they lead you astray, into playing guitar parts, instead of the actual BASS part. Thank you for getting it right, and caring.

thank you very much for the video. really excellent explanations, nice emphasis on the terminology that should be learned as well. very easy to follow along and pace ones self. if i would make one suggestion, it would be very helpful to have an overlay of the notes being played. otherwise fantastic tutorial, and I'll be checking it others you've made! cheers!

Thanks for showing what a diversion note is. A/C#. My guitarist didn't understand. Cheers .

Not a problem! It’s called an inversion where you use one of the other notes in the chord as your bass note.

One small quibble; the open E is the 'bottom' string, not the 'top' string, It's the lowest note
@essm6 жыл бұрын
Top of the bass - just wording it to appeal to beginner bass players as much as possible. But certainly a correct point you are making.

I believe it's the low top E string and the G is the high bottom string

I have zero musical ability. Zero. But I think I have a fighting chance of playing this.
