Good video. I was there about this time last year on a trip to Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. Luang Probang is a very special place. The motorbike mountain gets very crowded around sunset. Thanks for bringing back some great memories.

A good guide as to what is appropriate to wear in Laos (or any country in the world) is to take notice of what the locals are wearing and follow their example. How much skin do they expose? For example, Lao people do sometimes wear singlets in public but you won't see them wearing a singlet (or shorts) in a temple. Lao women don't wear "hot pants" but because of the heat many western woman do in Lao which may appear culturally insensitive. Laotians are quick to "forgive" mild forms of cultural inappropriation as the transgressors are "foreigners" so don't know any better".

This is really the example of the behavior of ignorant and contemptuous tourists towards the culture of the country that welcomes them.
