He's my best pal 😊. Street pass is alive and well in japan, that's for sure. I only ever get street passes in the States if I bring my 3ds to a convention or something.

Oh man, your trip reminds me of my 8 months stationed in Sasebo, Japan. I too would love to go back. Too bad about the ghibli museum but those sculptures were AMAZING! I would try to give that one sculpture a Baby Ruth lol 🤣 at the discount store I saw Chrono Trigger hanging there...I would buy that one. What amazing time. I wish I could go back too! 😊

Wow so lucky to have lived there for 8 months. Hahaha I should have tried to edit a baby ruth in that shot. Yeah the hardest part about the trip was not buying everything we saw because it was so cheap. Not to mention the exchange rate. 😄

What a sweet pair you are! Enjoyed your account, looked like you folks had a blast, Ghibli disappointment aside. I'll be going to Tokyo on 14 May for the fifth time. Sorry to hear Streetpass has effectively disappeared - when I first visited in 2013, it was quite usual to collect 50 - 100 a day!
