You may want to check out Jetlag Warriors " 5 star Malaysian hospitality .." when the Canadian couple was covid lockdown in Malaysia. One day he got free food , she' s from Indonesia therefore neither have roots here. Both Jetlag and this Ken Abroad , a German guy seems very comfortable with the country. @@DisappearforDays I've seen many vloggers do epic videos, content which goes beyond an hour, you guys can certainly do the same in Malaysia, the long hour content will monetize your video. From your past videos, you can do the same things, and include them in one epic video. Use those ideas again, walking around in the morning, spend some time doing grocery for the day, eating something simple after the grocery shopping, cook something from the grocery, review your lovely day. I think you guys could do better than what I've just said from the above suggestions. 😁

not being rude.. but may I ask.. the title of your video make it sounds as if living like local is somehow extra extraordinary or something.. Local Malaysian are just like anybody else on the freaking planet.. I can detect a mild form of white man came in big silver bird sort of an attitude.. so what's the big deal..
@DisappearforDays6 ай бұрын
It not the case that regular Malaysians living locally is an unordinary thing and something out of this world. But for us moving from England to start adopting this more local lifestyle is definitely not ordinary I think the reactions from some of the people we meet on a daily basis tells us that as they are always shocked when we eat in their kampung, hawker centres, or street stalls. With Jacob having family in Malaysia, he knows what local life is like so this video is more so showing how we feel that we are so comfortable in Malaysia so much so that we can start to live like locals. Hope that makes sense 😊

We don't mind where the food originates as long as it tastes good. But there is so much food to be proud of in Malaysia! Not only that, but the diversity of cultures has lead to multiple cuisines from all around. Though they might not originate from Malaysia, it's still a Malaysian dish in my eyes ☺️
@Yasin_Affandi6 ай бұрын
@@DisappearforDaysJacob, Emma, well said. However, don't be fooled by such allegations, there's no proof that some of the food originated from such country, it's such a lame claim that those are their heritage. If visit the country, you will find similarities, but definitely not the same. Those people are confined in their environment and when they see those food, they think those are theirs, but not the case.
