HI mate, looks like you had very similar conditions to us. I totally agree with you. The walk along the valley from Great Calva back to the car was my favourite part of the hike. That and having Lingy hut to get out of the wind for a brew and butty. All the best Marra.

That was some hike, very difficult conditions, poor paths, over 14 miles, but you did it! Well done on battling through and living up to your mountain man name! The shelters are a great help at the tops, though I hope you didn't spill too much drink! Regards, Ashley

Yea it wasnt one of my favorites to be fair.. nice views to the north but everything else is really blocked by skiddaw and blencathra.. great path coming back to mosedale along the valley floor which was a nice section

What a tough walk in those conditions. The ascent of Carrock Fell is awful in my opinion from the Mosedale road. You did extremely well.

Great effort and well done Dave Lad....lol your gonna have to git a spare battery Marra 😊 👍🏻
@daveostlemountainman Жыл бұрын
i take 3 batteries.. if u let the wind hit the gopro for more than 5 seconds it just shreds them to 0%.. gonne buy 2 more :/
@RockStar67 Жыл бұрын
@@daveostlemountainman GoPros are so sporadic bud especially there battery consumption ... I take 3 and only ever use up to 2 even in sub zero temps I also use a remote with it now it reduces the clip and file size by half especially on on all them walk backs I do 😊👍🏻
