On the inside of the plant, the floor is marked in feet, from the north end to the south end. If you walk from the receiving dock on the south end to the shipping dock on the north end, it is almost a half mile.

they look like incinerators equipped with multi-stage dust-collection equipment. my guess would be to recycle cobalt and manganese or other hazardous by-products of lithium battery production and to keep the stuff under control and out of the environment.

Current battery production process requires mixing a bunch of chemicals with a nasty solvent, spreading that slurry into thin sheets, then letting it dry and putting the resultant dried material into the battery. During that drying process all of those fumes need recaptured, cooled, and ideally reused. I would guess this is cooling equipment to facilitate that process.
