Hey Mat, just wanted to say I love watching your videos; I know this is an old one, but just working my way through them all. Your sense of humor is great, right up my street, as watching this I was laughing my head off. Those Aldi meals are a great for the hungry carper, as they are a staple in my bankside cuisine, although I do feel a bit of a fat git after I have demolished a meal, supposedly for two, along with a bag of Aldi`s basmati rice😜 !! Keep up the excellent work, and don`t worry about waffling, as this makes a refreshing change from watching tackle companies advertising and pushing their gear, trying to convince us that we need to buy it, to make us catch carp. Great to see that smile on your face after catching a most deserved carp, especially as we have all gone months without being on the bank. I wish you well for the future...tight lines pal. 😉

Great stuff as usual. The carp have only recently finished spawning and the banks crowded after the lockdown so they have probably filled up with huge amounts of bait and also been thoroughly disturbed after months of peace and quiet. You caught, and a very pretty fish! Better than some have managed I think. Glad to see you back!

there are swims with a lot of weed but others are clear so I would say inline is fine for some but not for all, that really is the only answere i can give you but the fishery does prefer lead clip or drop off but inlines you can use. regards Matt 👍

I get asked this one quite a lot it is a home made copy of a solar pod. it was made by a freind of Daves (one of my fishing buddies) and i found it for sale in my old local tackle shop for £25.00 cleaned it up and I tottaly love it. I would never buy another as long as I have this and its a one off there is no other
