Can't complain with a chub like that. A good day's fishing. I wish we had some narrower rivers nearby that were nicely stocked with fish. I will try the Loddon soon though.

Good session, Mark. Just shows its not always about 40 lb bags of silvers every trip! That chub put the icing on the cake too. Very cheap session with no maggots or casters, that definitely appeals to me as a tight northerner 😂👍

As long as I catch enough to put a smile on my face it's good enough. I was pleased with the chub which was in fantastic condition. Total bait was less than a kilo of groundbait and two slices of bread.

Several clubs do day tickets on the Stour including Blandford AC and Sturminster & Hinton AA, plenty of water to fish available.

Is that above rhe weit at fiddleford.was going there on Tuesday. Used to fish Meriden s nd would change depth as tide came up or down. It's a muscle memory.. Good watching as per.😊

@@MarkWintleFishing the match at Canford last Sunday was won with 2 minnows. The guy picked up £90

I fished down on Canford on the 22nd, lots of fish topping just above me (roach), I had three roach around 2 to 4oz, lost 1, on punch. Not enough action for a video!
