Sad to see GT Express being overtaken. Another train suffering similar fate is Howrah Chennai Mail. Both the trains were such important trains on their respective routes during 1950s and 1960s right till 1990s and mid 1970s respectively. Wonder why these legendary trains were not given the same consideration as another legend, the Golden Temple (erstwhile Frontier) Mail, which still enjoys high priority on its route.

very nice!!, I think after ZBTT all SR based trains are being given least priority in NCR atleast. Good TN's TT was revised else it was so pathetic to see the number of OTs, when TN's original schedule was on par with SBC Raj and AP atleast in terms of stoppages.
