Adam your videos have 100% helped my angling. I took off all the Ronnies and went to a simple lign aligner rig and just had the best fishing of my life. 6 over 30 Over 27 fish caught in just 2 sessions. Thank you for your tips. My best saying now is: "Am i catching because of or inspite of"

"remember guys keep it simple, its not about bulky over cluttered rigs and rigid resetting booms " From the guy who brought you the double hinged multi-stiff sawn-off double albright knotted multi-stiff D rig with hand sharpened hook in his last video . LOL . The biggest takeaway from an Penning film seems to be contradiction . Looking forward to the winter tactics video though, maybe its going to be jägermeister on his tiggers this year.

I use this same rig tipped with a piece of plastic corn for years never changed it once simple 15lb soft coated braid size 6 or 8 depending on fish and a piece of sillocone on the bend of hook to trap the hair that is it or if you want to get fancy and some shrink tubing or hook aligner no more than 3 items of tackle caught endless on pressured waters all over the UK and bottoms if its weedy make the hook length longer same as silt not hard don't follow the trend save your money 😉

AT LAST!!! Someone going ‘back to basics’ (like I’ve been fishing successfully for years) & also not trying to sell the latest, unnecessary gadget rigs & kilos upon kilos of the new ‘special bait?’ & brightly coloured, over glugged/additive treated hook baits. Anglers are their own worst enemy falling for all the tackle companies bullshit hype ~ as the saying goes, tackle/bait catches more anglers than fish. I salute you Adam for being ‘real’ & honest in this video, unlike the others who think we’re all stupid, brainless fools, & don’t like it when you have the nerve to challenge their hype. 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Mr Penning is spot on. Keep it simple has been my way for years. The more different things you try the more chance of it going wrong. These new "scaffolding rigs" aren't for me at all. Floater fishing is the best way to catch carp when conditions are right there's nothing better.

In just a year Adam has changed his whole outlook on carp fishing, going right back to basics. Only a year ago it was all about stiff short multi rigs, now its KD style and ultra simple. I do like Adam, but this does confuse people I'm sure.

Back into carping after 40 years the line strength & rod test curves shocked me at first as compared to my old 1&1/4 pound glass fibre rods that would bend double but absorb any pulls from the fish As for Ronnie rigs ……….. brutal ironmongery

Another brilliant video, couldn’t sum it up better myself👍🏻 I’m still using the same rigs I used 30 years ago including braid as a hooklink & they still catch carp. Keep up the good work - tight lines bud😊

Great video with lots of useful info. Thank you! I do a lot of lure fishing as well as carping and braid gives such a better connection. Makes total sense to use it for floater fishing too.

I do not mean to be picky but why would you show a video of fishing which no one else could do . Braided mainline is NOT ALLOWED in Suffolk water park so why use it. It is clearly stated in the rules. Othet than that a very informative film from a guy that had my respect until he broke the RULES!
