I lived in Charlotte and it was a wonderful experience. I actually cried when I left. I have lived in the Ballentyne area as well as Uptown. Since I traveled weekly Uptown was amazing - 10 minutes to the airport, I could walk every where and being near all the sporting events was fun. If you are a foodie - you will be in heaven. Make the move and you will love it.

I live in CLT and love it. For a big city, the cost of living is very reasonable. We are close to the mountains and not too far from the coast. The airport is easily accessible via the 485 loop around the city. And the best, AA is our main airline and we can fly to most places in the country direct without layovers. 😄

But it gets very cold in the winter? Know someone that lives there. Seems very quiet.

@sithabelamandlawenkosiwodu6298 Some winters it can get colder than others, but there are winters I hardly ever have to wear a coat. As for being quiet, a city is what you make of it. We have all major sports, a lot of nightlife, always a festival or event going on, a lot of great microbreweries, and excellent dining options.

Born and raised in Charlotte. It has been interesting to see it change over the years. It’s nice weather, nice people, good food, but lots of traffic and congestion as with most places. Lots of construction both road and housing so that can be a pain at times too. Still has some humidity but not as bad as Florida. I live in Charleston SC now, only a few hours away from Charlotte to see family. That’s another pro of Charlotte - beach a few hours away and mountains a few hours away. And of course CLT airport so can get anywhere 😊 sorry that was a ramble, but that’s my two cents!

That perfume seems to be trying to mimic Frederic Malle from Paris. The red in the boxes, the shape of the bottles are all "Fred". The Baccarat Rouge is in the same price range as Fredric.

This was sharp. Could you tell the difference between the two? The 787-8 is a little smaller than the 777-200. However the 787-8's wingspan is a little wider and it flies farther. But Boeing is testing their newest 777, the 777-9, a 252ft long aircraft, the world's longest and it's designed with more of the 787's design features. And I love the gorounds!! That's when the aircrafts engines' power are really highlighted. Very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!

I grew up in/live in Coral Springs, (I’m sure you know of the area) but I lived in Charlotte in 2010 for a year. That too is one city that I would love to live in again. You get all 4 seasons, but fall was my favorite. As you know quite well, we’re happy if the high is 82 during our Florida “fall” 😂

Que Onda is ok, but there are waaaaaaay better Mexican places in Charlotte! Try Ru Ru's Tacos & Tequila (read the menu). Or Las Margaritas. Or Superica. I moved from FL (11 years in FL) to Charlotte in 2022 and I freaking love it. Seasons (but temperate seasons)! TONS of stuff to do for any interest. Nice people. Not the typical "south" (which I find to be a good thing).

CLT is a great place to call home. I live ~10 minutes from the airport. I think you'd enjoy it as a base. Definitely the biggest small town you'll ever live in. AA is a sponsor of the Carolinas LGBT Chamber (of which I'm a member). If you end up moving, come out to a networking event and I'll buy your first beverage.
