Hey Gina! OMG I love your journal! I’ve been wanting to do a journal similar to that. I am definitely the type of person that likes to write things down and just dump it into a page. So far I have been really enjoying your channel. This is my 3rd video I been binge watching. I like your journal it's inspiring to try. I also would love to hear what ideas you may have for one on one time. I have four kids ages 17-5 and I have been trying to figure out a system for one on one time. Thanks for creating this space and sharing

Aww, I'm so glad you've been enjoying my videos! Thank you for sharing this! It means so much! Sometimes one on one time will be as simple as playing a board game together, baking, or maybe even going to a coffee shop and getting a a treat and we sit down and talk (only one on one though). I did the coffee shop one and then went to a bookstore and my oldest loved it. It makes such a huge difference having that uninterrupted time with 1 child. I can only commit to doing 1:1 time every 2 weeks, though, or sometimes every 3 weeks because it takes coordinating it with the hubby. But now that my mom is near, it might be easier!

Question for you. Are the new TGTB science units better than they used to be? I had a couple of the older ones, but I just couldn't get into them with my kids because the lessons were so long. I haven't wanted to try the new ones in fear of that same thing. I hear you about science though! It's hard and one I haven't really taught yet. This year my goal is to teach my kids science based on the Creation account found in Genesis. I want to do it in order alongside the Bible to show my kids how wonderful God and His Creations are 🌎🌍

In my opinion, they are! The arthropods unit was so great that my 5 year old didn't want it to end lol they do have a free marine biology unit pdf that you can download so you can take a look at :) love that your teaching your kids science through the Bible! So perfect ❤️
