I'm a big advocate for homeschooling I was homeschooled for 3 years and joined a homeschool group at church never thrived in public school I couldn't handle the large classes and I was builied through out school years. Every child learns differently. I found i learned better when I did my own thing and tought my self things. It's good to have perants that can allow each child to thrive in there own way instead of being forced to do things a certain way.

Stephen and Amanda I love that you take time for just the two of you. Not enough couples do that and it affects their relationship negatively. Which in turn affects the kids. It is amazing to see how much your family has grown! I'm sure you and Steven the trouble with how fast the time has gone. Liam really looks like he's maturing and growing as well as seasons. And of course it is a miracle that Lincoln is walking running as well as he is stop. It also seems like he's understanding better also and maturing along with the other kids! Please don't get me wrong as I love your channel. But I hope you realize how privileged your family is. I really love that you adopted and opened your life to these kids. They really seem like YOUR kids. And of course Lincoln will always be my favorite. But, this is NOT the normal life. As a mom that has always had to work at least 40 hours a week, I would never have been able to sit a few minutes in the morning for devotions unless I woke up before 5:00. And to even think of going to the gym or for coffee with my husband.........not enough time in a day for that.

Absolutely. It’s such a privilege. We have always chosen to not live “normal” lives. We are so grateful we have always chosen for Amanda to be able to stay at home and invest in the kids. Even when I was working full time ministry and we were making next to nothing, we always sacrificed to make that a priority. Now with me being able to work from home as well, it’s an even bigger blessing. Even with us pulling 60+ hours a week working, it’s all of us together, which is absolutely amazing. ❤️❤️ Thank you for the encouraging reminder of our blessings. Hope you have the best day!

It’s good to see your routine in the morning, and then kids go to school their own ways, it’s great you home school a Liam and Kiera and it was there choice, Lincoln is definitely walking/ running better he just escapes fast, then one of have to run after him. He has his own personality always laughing he is. All the other kids are very happy to, and good luck in everything everyone does. My older grandgirl has homechooled since 2nd grade and it has been so good for her and her family. She has played on a high school golf team all through high school and was able to travel for tournaments. Her younger sister returned to their very parent involved charter school last year and it has been a good fit for her . They have even blessed and encouraged them to have her go on week long travel times with family during school time which is unusual

Love how you listen to the kids and allow them to express their feelings and opinions! I also love that you give them options and allow them to participate fully in their growth and education! Awesome parenting! I know Kiera had expressed that she had decided to go back to homeschooling and why! I didn’t know Liam decided to go back to homeschooling also! It was awesome that Kiera felt comfortable enough to express her feelings and that you both listened and allowed her to choose. Some parents would have made them continue with traditional school. You guys are also doing an excellent job with Lincoln! I didn’t know they told you he wouldn’t walk. So much for that diagnosis! He’s even talking as well. I was born with a disability and apparently from what I was told, the doctors said I wouldn’t live past age one. Then age 5. I will be 48 this year! They also said I would have issues with learning. I graduated college with honors and I’m an attorney now. Keep up the good work with Lincoln and all the kids! ❤️

I was also born with a disability. My mom told me that her doctor tried to convince her to terminate the pregnancy and then when she didn’t they told her that I wouldn’t live to my first birthday then it was my second birthday. After my second birthday they finally shut up and decided I was going to fight. I’ll be 52 this year. Now granted I have lost a lot of my friends who were also born with Spina Bifida pass away between the ages of 47 and 56.

Good for you! So glad you’re in tune with your precious children. Every child is different and they all deserve a chance to develop their individual gifts. I know, for sure, that God has gifted every single one of us. We are all on our separate journeys before we reach our heavenly home. Thank God for our individual gifts and talents. I remember when I was told that my daughter may never walk or anything. That was 25years a go she walks and talks sometimes she doesn’t stop talking lol but we love it because she proved all the Dr’s and specialists wrong and continue to today 🥰

Amanda I bought my two year old grandson the cutest shoes from Target. They are called Billy shoes. They zip but they zip from the top of the shoe. The whole top of the shoe zips opens up and makes it easier to put on! It has been a big help getting them on....

I’m loving soaking in the time with them while they want to be home and happy I can still homeschool… there is something I missed about not doing it at all last year.

I love that you decide on how each child is educated, depending on the child and what the child wants or needs, that’s really amazing. I always think, oh I’ll homeschool for sure one day, when I have kids, but actually you don’t know, you have to see what’s best for your babies, and so yeah.. I just love this video, it’s a reminder of that. And your kids have options, they are really lucky. And damn you really need to do a cookbook. Thats is so different. My daughter did growth hormone treatments every day from 7 yrs old till a couple months ago at 14 yrs old, they had her do her shots at night, we where told that night is when your growth hormone is actually most active. I guess different doctors do different things
