Having erasable pens and high liters really helped me! Especially writing things in my planner😮. Pilot frixion make them both. Extreme life changer!!😅 writing on caked on white out wasn’t the business. Also idk if you heard about Hoka but shoes are amazing!!! They come in all white and all black. My heels are super sensitive and I’ve always been use to my feet hurting so when I tried the Hoka and came home with NO foot pain I was SOLD!!! Nurse in the making and Mark Clement is all you need for your NCLEX. Currently will be in my BSN program starting January. Good luck !!! I love tech! You were right in getting the lap top and iPad. I used both so much in my LVN program.

@keyerajade yes maam, I did the same when I started. I still use them as a nurse, Beautiful Nursing and Nurse Sam are the best ones I have come across. Also, if you are looking for a good water tumbler that is chic like the Stanley but will not leak and has a bunch of pluses....Coldest Tumbler. Get the 46 oz. You will not be sorry.

I would make the investment for me a lot of it was ATI which my school uses BUT I find them beneficial for sure

How do you become a PCT? I was interested in getting experience in the hospital.

You can normally apply at any hospital. They have different names for the role Patient Care Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant… etc. make sure if you do apply ask for career advancement, opportunities to assist with furthering your education, and the acuity level on the unit. 🫶🏽
