sarah is literally incredible. telling us she was once concerned because she didn’t have many school qualifications and then watching her talk so professionally in that meeting, absolutely incredible. Its so refreshing to see a family vlogging channel that actually respects what their kids do and dont want to be filmed. So many parents on these kinds of channels just film regardless of what the kid wants but it makes me so so happy to see how much they respect their kids wishes. I love this channel so so much ❤️‍🩹

You said you didn't know where she got her strength from, but from what I saw watching your videos almost from the beginning and learning/working with children with special needs. You teach her every day to be brave, all of you, are the perfect example of what I learn in class. You act so well with her. As a fellow parent of a special need child! Putting them in transport for their first day of a new school is the hardest but the most rewarding thing ever! And Sophie’s new school sounds amazing! We want the same for our little boy who is the same age as Sophie. We just want him to get some independence (or as much as he can have) She is such a brave girl! ❤

Just an idea for Sophie, if she doesn’t like to go to school as she’s anticipating you can have a calendar and a picture of the item she’s getting or doing and count the days till it happens so she can visually see she won’t miss out on it by going to school :) such a lovely family 💖💖

Having visual aids at home are such a good suggestion. Most SEN children need them to support their coping mechanisms and routine at school, so following this up at home (apologies if they already so this) could be very beneficial to Sophie.

My 19 year old brother is autistic and has been taking transport since he was 11. They have honestly always been amazing with him, they get him presents on Christmas and chocolate for Easter. He left his old school in July and honestly his drivers both burst into tears because they were going to miss him so much. I hope Sophie has an amazing experience with it in the same way my brother does. She's honestly so brave ❤
