I study mechanical engineering in Greece. Here every semester has their own courses and you can't choose. Except the 4rth and 5th year that you have some mandatory courses and you can chooses some others! Wish everyone a good academic year!😊

biomedical focuses a lot more on biological systems and using electrical and software components to help humans/biological components so similar just more specific

I’m taking 4th year courses (last semester finally after 5 1/2 years where course selection was one part of the slowwww process of my degree!) literally the courses I need to graduate aren’t even available or all of them are in the same period (8 am) only!! Doesn’t help that the city bus in my neighborhood is really bad. Parking at my school is nonexistent and really expensive so I don’t want to drive. 🫠 My brother is going into his first year in biology and psychology minor and his schedule is a mess too. I feel bad for you guys with lecture, discussion and tutorials and labs. At least my major and minor doesn’t require tutorials and very few labs.
