Actually started watching pen vids mid-June then stumbled across American study channels. I was actually thinking walang mag gaganitong kind ng vid sa PH kasi personally I don't really care much for paper(just pens, I love pens kahit di ako artsy). Grabe good thing I stumbled upon this vid, para alam ko din yung ieexpect kong price range and what brands to choose next time I buy my stationery supplies. I personally love to use Pilot Acroball and Maica pero my more recent fave is Uni-ball Signo RT1 kasi mas convenient for me yung retractable pens and I fell in love with its ink(more than the energel, which I also have). Muji gel pens is one of my fav to take notes with, pero to prevent smudges po, better to use smaller tip sizes, like 0.5 or even 0.38, which is the size i use and works perfectly. And yea its quite expensive and far away from where i live hehe

omg same problem with muji pens you can't really highlight your notes :(( if ever you'll see this, i recommend uni ball signo dx (waterproof!) also, pentel energel pens are good!!! you can just buy refills and it fits in the zebra sarasa case afaik p.s. good luck sa bar!!! oh i'm from upd too :) padayon!

Thanks for your input!! I was using energel nung first two years ko in law school. But I was using 0.5 lang and my professor told me to write bigger and use 0.7 or 1.0 instead - that’s when I started using sarasa. Does energel have. 0.7 or 1.0? I was also recommended with the uni but I haven’t given it a try yet!

As a 4th year Psychology student, it would be very helpful to have the B5 Binder to sort out the notes from different subjects by placing those in one binder. Sticky notes would also be very helpful as it can also be use as a to-do list sheet. Looking forward to have these school stuff as I can also use these as I start reviewing for the board exam, after I graduate. These can also be challenging to have since we are not allowed to go out because of the quarantine, so getting these as a giveaway would mean a lot to me. If you can't find sarasa pens in nbs, there's a ton of them online however they are a bit pricey compared to the ones from nbs. a great alternative would be pilot juice pens if there are no more sarasa pens.

Have you tried the pentel energel, the ones in a blue barrel? I sweeaaar it's so smooth when writing even though the paper is a little bit coarse, the pen works fine. 🤗 Also, it dries quickly and doesn't smudge at all. I had been using that on a 3 peso up blue book and still works sooo good. Edit: BLN-25 A is the model I think. 😅

Hi Loren!! Thanks for your input! I was actually using energel during my first three years in law school and i do agree with you! But in my fourth year, in one of my review classes, the professor told me to improve my handwriting for the bar haha because it was too small and thin. So I had to find a pen na 1.0 or 0.7 :(

I’m trying to get my hand used to writing with regular sign pens cos that’s what I’ll use for the bar. ☺️ I’ve realized the hassle of using fountain pens kasi sa bar - like refilling ink and the fear of running out of it in the middle of the exam, plus they say that the paper is really inconsistent so fountain pens may not be a good choice. ☺️

IG: @jjerodin.mae Set 1 kasi mas magagamit ko talaga siya since kapag nagaaral and nagrereview ako sobrang dami ko talagang notes and handouts na ginagamit at ginagawa para ma make sure ko na maaalala ko siya kapag dumating na yung exams. Hindi ako nakakapag function kapag hindi ko siya nilalagay sa sticky note or sa mismong notes. Nasa pandemic din kasi kaya sobrang helpful nito sakin since hindi ako makakabili ngayon ng school supplies dahil sa delikado (ayokong i risk sila mama) and dahil na din sa kakulangan sa budget :)
