Great video! Wish I knew those tips when I was in college which was many years ago. For an incoming freshman or any college student, those tips you mentioned along with the dorm supplies you mentioned and showed would be very helpful for them, I think.

Steamers are super effective and portable. Honestly think it works better than regular iron and would recommend it

Here where I live in latin America college experience is very different, because everything is close by and is mainly in city and I don’t need a dorm… but I must say I’m impressed by the advice given, you don’t actually want them to spend in unnecessary stuff and you do care in functionality :3

Recent college grad here (class of 2024 🥳). My advice for a mattress topper is to wait until you get to school (especially if you're not into soft mattresses). This is mainly because I loved my college bed, but I also like firmer bedding so if you know that about you I would wait, especially since toppers can be quite pricey. But obviously if you only like soft bedding then you should invest in one.

At UCM the RA position covers your housing and meal plan! You should definitely apply to become an RA!

Great question! I apply to my campus residence education department. the hiring process consist of creating a cover letter and resume explaining how you would be a great candidate for resident assistant position! In my cover letter I explained how involved I was on campus.
