I worked at Walmart for 5 years and it was a pretty cool job i guess. Here in Texas there is a Walmart about every 5-10 miles. But I think HEB still King for Groceries.
@negatedchromos28687 жыл бұрын
Yeah HEB is the shit really sad they're only in Texas though.
@DudeWazap1037 жыл бұрын
Cronne Yeah, but since they are only in Texas they get all their stuff from Texas farmers and vendors. I thinks that's how they can sale so much for such a low price.

I've stolen from CVS, Speed, Walmart and others (just like $5 worth) to see if the alarms go off. But they're most for show or aren't even operational (off). But at like Walmart it's sets off those tapes that have the design inside of them, and those big ass black wired devices they'd put on like games and TVs

Yep, there is a subreddit for shoplifting. Stayed up for a few nights just reading the posts. It's appalling how they would excuse themselves for thievery, when majority of the time the goods they steal are never a necessity. But, I did learn a few interesting things and how they choose to shoplift. There's also a subreddit specifically for people against the shoplifting subreddit.

I'm not pulling out my gun in a crowded walmart because someone is grabbing my daughters hair, girlfriends hair if anyones hair is getting grabbed im going to break their fucking skull but im not about to pull out my gun. If you are too immature in tense situations you shouldnt own or carry a gun. Grabbing hair doesn't constitute the use of stand your ground or castle doctrine because no ones life is in danger.
@JohnDoe-yq5bd7 жыл бұрын
Also to add on, a while ago i worked as AP and literally everyday we would get card scammers, thieves that steal hundreds to thousands worth of items and even after i quit there was a shooting over a spot in line. Nothing of what steve or joe said about what we can do was correct. We have a 2 minute policy and as long as they are within the stores parking lot and store area we can grab them and if we cant get them to submit within 2 minutes we have to let them go and call the cops. We are allowed to tackle you, throw you or snatch you up like you are our child if you are in a fight or steal after we cuff you we take you tour our little holding cell (yes we have holding cells) and take down a report call the unit assigned to our area and have the people picked up by them. Also both walmart and target have plain clothes AP there is usually 2-3 plain clothed and 2-3 uniformed AP working throughout the day so whenever you see someone multiple times around the store and they happen to be walking by you a lot wearing normal clothes chances are they are AP. Stores now a days are really more secure than most would like to think, people are still stuck thinking that this is 2001 and when you make it to the front we can't do anything and even if we saw you we couldn't touch you and thats just plain wrong. Most stores pay their Loss prevention staff relatively well because we have to do so much.
