Well except lots of chaos and maybe being a little stressed the first few weeks of school but trust me don’t make friends to fast bc it could cause drama in the long run. People in public school can cause drama and it’ll spread fast. But nevertheless it’s great! I hope you love your teachers and friends you make. It’s the best

Ahh I totally know the feeling! I always get anxious right before the start of a new school year, my biggest piece of advice would be to try to make lots of new friends and have fun! Good luck this year!💙

Don’t be too quick to make friends, most of your friends will meet new people and turn on you. Stay focused on your work (grades and G.P.A), don’t be embarrassed to be a teachers pet because it’ll do you justice, participate in many sports and school events as you can , and also enjoy being in high school while you can because it goes by fast!🥰 Coming from an upcoming senior.

Don't be too shy, instead try to be open and learn how to start a good conversation. Being social is a great quality to have and can actually help you make a lot of friends since other people are scared to make the first move and introduce themselves. Of course stick up for yourself and don't let anyone walk over you, because once you do, they won't stop doing it. And trust me you'll be miserable. Studying and working hard should be one of your main priorities and it definitely pays off. Try to have good relationships with your teachers. You can do this by being nice, respectful, and paying attention in their class. Teachers work really hard for their students and get paid too little for all they do... So show your appreciation. If there's any orientation or tours of the school as well as any other meetings that you can attend, try to make all of them so that you can be as prepared as possible and show your participation throughout the school year. And most importantly as someone else said, have fun! That doesn't mean doing bad things, but just enjoying the time you have in high school. Make It count, ya know? You won't be that young forever. And it'll probably go by super fast. Hopefully this advice somewhat helps you, even though I'm no one to give very professional advice, I try my best to help with what I know. Good luck!
