Hello Mike & Jessica!😊 You guys are my first movie reaction of the day. I've had the flu for a few weeks. I'll try and add a few things people may not have commented on. The mall parking lot mall used for the beginning and end of the film was sold a few months ago along with the closed mall. The Puente Hills Mall, City of Industry, CA has been on the verge of closing for several years with the value depreciating. The mall and parking lot sold for $115 million in September marking the malls 50th year. The actor that plays Marty's father (Crispin Glover) has a father who is an actor. His father played one of the main bad guys in the James Bond film "Diamonds Are Forever" (1971). Fans of the film probably remember Mr. Wint (Bruce Glover) and Mr. Kidd from the film.😉 The ending of the film with Doc coming back and saying something was wrong with their kids was basically a joke. They had no idea the film would be as successful as it was and they had no plans for a sequel. Great reactions from you and Jessica with this one, Mike!!!!🎬👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

ending of the film with Doc coming back and saying something was wrong with their kids -- you are so right and people new to the triplogy do not understand that this 1st fiklm was never intened to be anything but the one film, no mattetrwhat is sad at the end. The film was obviously so popular they did two more. Now people re clalingit Trilogy because "trilogy" is such a fun word to say apparently as you hear the cash register ring if you own a theater. I never liked the 2nd film, it was way too dark and evil in spirit, turning into othe Godfather part 9 and his mother into a sex slave, eliminating the comedy/adventure it was supposed to be. This movie is up there on a very exclusive pedestal along with Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Jurassic Park and a few others. Now for some movie details people might have already commented, but here we go all the same: - At the dance, when Marty starts playing the last song "Johnny B Good", the band's singer goes backstage to call his cousing "Chuck", explaining that he is Chuck's cousin "Marvin Berry, and he should listen to this new sound he was looking for.... Johnny B Good was actually written by musician Chuck Berry. - When Marty goes looking for Doc in 1955, and shows him the photograph of him and his siblings, Doc doesn't believe him and says it's "trick photography", like photoshopped in the photo, because his brother's hair looks like it's been cut off. What's actually happening is that his brother has already started to disappear from the photograph and a part of his head is already erased, - At the beginning of the movie, when Marty is skaeting through the town he holds on to the back of a Jeep, and the driver looks back and Marty says Hi. That driver is Robert Zemeckis, the director.

This movie was so popular also because the kids and parents could bond so much. Because Marty goes back into our parents generation and he is from our generation so watching it with our parents was a blast. We would hear oh I remember that or I had that or I did that or I remember listening to that and it was just really fun like we were able to get a glimpse into our parents past lives and how things were for them.

The scene where Marty’s band is trying out in the gym and gets shot down for being too loud has an inside joke to it. The song his band is playing is The Power of Love. That song plays throughout the movie and is performed by Huey Lewis and the News. The guy with the bullhorn that says they were “too darn loud” was Huey Lewis.

Christopher Lloyd playing the "Doc" was genious casting. He was known for playing oddballs, wackos. Specifically in the TV sitcom Taxi that ran from 1978 to 1983, he played "The Reverend Jim," not a clergy member but a spaced out old hippie type driving a taxi, with memory loss and flashbacks lol. He was also one of the mental patients in 1975's "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."

in the 1950's the saying was "Make like a tree and "leaf" as in "leave." Biff, being incredibly stupid, screws it up royally saying "And get out of here." Note the Twin Pines Mall sign had changed at the end? It said Lone Pine Mall.

Y'all appreciate character actors, I know: The homeless guy on the bench near the end is George Buck Flowers. He _mostly_ played a homeless guy in movies. In numerous John Carpenter flicks, for instance. Loads of credits to his name. And if you imdb him - his first few credits are...well... they're not what you expect or wanna watch 🤔😳. Gotta get paid somehow, right? 😅
