I might do more of these over time . This was random and just for fun to see how it would go. I’ll probly get a mic too so it’s easier to hear. That and pointer instead of using a broom handle , ha

My names Billy Bowling and I was an extra and the little boy you thought was Elliot from ET. For the record, Micheal J Fox was on the skateboard when he grabbed the back of the truck. I was in several movies in 1984 to 88 and this was very memorable although I was only present on 4 days of shooting. Thought you mite like to know. Love the new youtube idea with the movie sceen breakdown Good luck.

I enjoyed this. I think enough people don’t talk about how the sparks on the skateboard sort of visually mirror the fire trails the Time Machine leaves. And I’m sure you already know this but "D. Jones Manure Handling" was an in-joke reference to Dennis Jones, who served as the unit production manager for the movie and was in charge of keeping the film's costs under budget.

Some constructive criticism. 1. Get a Bluetooth or wireless mic. Sound is nasty. 2. Get a video editing/production package and do it the right way. Static camera focused on a big TV screen doesn't quite do it. And lose the broom handle.

Adam you've missed lots of continuity issues - the skateboard wheel centers change from silver @ 46:06 to red @ 46:53. The front of Biffs car changes to something completely different @ 45:18 when compared to 30:51 - the number plate is suddenly flexible, the car now has side lights when it didn't previously - the 'super something' logo on the right has disappeared (due to side light!) the side mirror has changed shape!! etc etc

I don't mean to dissuade you, but this was a little too detailed for me. It's a good idea, but perhaps you could go through faster? 58 minutes is more than I can handle. I know I have the choice to not watch, but I thought since this is your first time for this sort of thing, maybe you would want some constructive feedback. Also, maybe you could set the camera more in front of the screen instead of off to the side. But you may have logistics that I don't know about.

I’m not gonna lie, this isn’t going to work with these kinds of production values. It’s not like vlogging where you don’t have to edit or light a scene. You need to be well mic’d… I can’t understand you clearly. Well lit, it looks like you just have a lamp on in the corner. Don’t use your TV, use a green screen with a camera focused on you directly or edit the video footage and use a voice over. It’s too low effort and amateur for KZbin in 2024. I know it’s a lot of work but look at Mkbhd- even his videos from 10 years ago. He is a prime example of the best at this.
@adamthewoo4 ай бұрын
I’ll work on the mic aspect but still gonna keep it raw in style

@@adamthewooI would also suggest maybe not quite as long. I feel like a good length to shoot for is 15-20 minutes per “episode.” Brayden on Mickey Views has a mic clipped to his shirt for example, always very clear audio.

Hey, Adam! I really enjoyed this frame by frame analysis. Back to the Future is so well made it really holds up to this kind of scrutiny. Sure, there are continuity issues, but every film has those. The real craft is on display here in all the details. When you add up that the chase if simply them driving around the square, Zemeckis' directing really takes center stage making it seem so much bigger in scope. You could do this with almost any sequence in the film and come away with a much better appreciation for all the hard work that went into this film. And the fact that a lot of scenes were filmed twice to add Michael in! Keep up the good work and I'll see you in the future....Jeff Tucker
