Back to the future!: Air France's 787 is coming!

From the delivery of parts to their assembly, from painting the aircraft to its first take-off, discover all the different stages of the construction of Air France's first Boeing 787 in the workshops in Everett in the United States, before its arrival at Paris-CDG on December 2nd.

The Air France - KLM group has ordered quite some A350's, 9 for KLM, 18 for AF. b787: 787-900 around 12 for AF. KLM has 8 787-9's in service and another 7 on order.... so a total of 15 787-9's. KLM has also got some 787-10's on order.

The Boeing Dreamliner programme, announced in 2003, was supposed to cost $6 billion and see the plane take to the air in 2008. The final bill was $32 billion and the 787 Dreamliner arrived three years late. Boeing is the past and Airbus is the future
