If I got to work with Jonathan to do an Icon for myself I would start with a Studebaker Avanti :-)

It’s funny because now you see these “Restomod” cars being more desirable than the classics. You still feel like you’re driving a piece of history, just with all the modern perks.

So that's why Icon is expensive, its because it will last the owner ten times as long as the original vehicle. They're making super reliable cars like the Hilux, except its cooler and classic and awesome and fast and high class and true to form with the original vehicle. I think my favorite styling is to take an old classic like a 1973 Buick Riviera and give it retro-futuristic interior components that show modern readouts but look like they came from the era of the car that was converted, like the digital dash cluster of the '79 Volvo Tundra or something, but also blend the retro-futuristic stuff into the style the Riviera had. Like, the Riviera dashboard was a rather swanky large 3 panel setup that could easily fit 3 large electroluminescent LCD displays and the interior lighting could be handled by electroluminescent strips and panels, stuff called EL Wire, and it'd be awesome.

Freethink... You didn't include the cost of these conversions. Most of the car's looked like the same old internal combustible engine's with some new electronics added. If they were all converted to electric, it would be worth the price.
@markistvancsendes3131 Жыл бұрын
I love the idea, but unless someone figures out a way to make old cars properly crash proof, the hole idea is just a catastrophe waiting to happen if we implement it on a mass scale.
