In this one you have many references to western movies : The Sergio Leone's dollar trilogy of course (Clint Eastwood and the final duel, Marty save to hanging by doc) but also to John Ford, monument valley is an hommage to John Ford and the dance scene is a reference to the film "My darling Clementine", the lokomotiv is the same that in "High Noon" , camera movement which revealed Hill Valley when Marty arrive in town is the same that in "Once upon a time in west" and some actors played in many westerns : the barman ("Pat Garret and Billy the kid", "The Outlaw Josey Wales", "the cowboys", "Jeremiah Johnson" ...), the train driver was the bad guy in "The Outlaw Josey Wales", and the three old men in saloon played in many classics westerns of the 40's and 50's. And the mirror scene is a reference to "Dirty Harry" (with Clint Eastwood) and "Taxi Driver". Now if you want discover Western you are many classics here. ;)

Howdy Doody was THE children's TV show from 1947 to 1960. It featured circus and Western frontier themes (anticipates the Western theme of BTTF3). So they met in another circumstance hence the chase rescue scene immediately after, because they ended up meeting by fate instead of their original formal meeting. I do think my favorite of these is 2, because of the technical cleverness of how they wove another story around and between and behind the existing scenes from the first movie, to show it from other angles while having to stay careful to not disrupt it. It is a pretty original type of idea. There is a similar thing with the story called Rosencrantz and Gildenstern are Dead, which are two of Hamlet's friends, and they show some of the story of what was happening to them behind the scenes of the story of Hamlet. Someone has hopefully mentioned it by now, but with your mention of wanting to see Clint Eastwood in The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly, that is the third of a trilogy. The first are A Fistful of Dollars, and For a Few Dollars More.

Great reaction Bliss like always. this trilogy is best love every single movie, there are some fun facts about this one. During the scene where Mad Dog Tannen and his cronies are attempting to hang Marty after their disagreement in the saloon, Michael J Fox accidentally got hanged for real for a short time, making him pass out for a few moments. The producers asked Clint Eastwood for permission to use his name and he was happy and thrilled to say yes. The band ZZ Top were hanging around on the set of the film, and ended up portraying the band at the town party. There were some technical issues whilst filming and, whilst repairs were taking place to get them fixed, ZZ Top took requests from the cast and crew and gave a small concert. Thomas F Wilson, who plays Mad Dog Tannen, did all of his own horse riding and horse stunts during the film. Not only that, but he also lassoed Marty. When Marty arrives back in 1985, the Delorean is quickly destroyed by a freight train. When it came to arranging the scene to be filmed, the producers asked the driver of the freight train whether hitting the car would derail the train, as they didn’t want to cause too much carnage. The driver shrugged it off, saying, ‘I’ve been waiting my whole life to do this. And the set of the Old West Hill Valley was used 4 years earlier for Pale Rider - a western starring none other than Clint Eastwood, which hit cinemas in 1985. Keep up the good work.

The three old guys in the saloon [bar] are actually veteran cowboy movie actors. Doc shooting Marty down off of the hanging rope was taken from an actual Clint Eastwood movie "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" as a joke. meeting Doc was Clara's "Density" lol. Clara hopping on a train, and the getting off again to save the Doc, taken right from the classic 1952 western [cowboy] movie High Noon, starring Gary Cooper, who won the Academy Award for best actor that year. I have never understood Doc's logic in not leaving and taking Clara with them. Considering that she should have been dead at that time, but due to his actions, she was not. Therefore, her continued presence in 1885 was far more dangerous to the time continuum than taking her with them could possibly be. It just doesn't make sense to leave her there.
@Taylorswiftfan133088 ай бұрын
Now I'm confused, don't they end up time travelers together? That seems the least invasive overall Doc didn't seem to cause much trouble by being inserted into the timeline ~100 years before his time so as long as they played it cool, another time bandit should be fine. And his logic was blinded by love, so I'll excuse it. Plus, they did have to control the train. If, we want to get that nitpicky with details ... when Marty jumped back to the, present (1985) we are to believe the new trestle was sitting at the exact same XYZ coordinates a century later so that the DeLorean didn’t even experience a bump, much less derail?

26:34 "I don't know. Maybe we can just take Clara with us." I am of a mind that they dismissed this possibility _way_ too quickly. I mean, the idea was to prevent disruptions to the timeline, right? Remember, we're not even a week past the day she was supposed to have ended up dead on the bottom of the ravine that would go on to be _named_ after her for that. The timeline is _already_ undergoing changes. Clara wasn't _supposed_ to have a future. Now the Doc and Marty are accustomed to 1985. Thus, in 1885, they're out of place, but they understand the _ways_ they're out of place, so they can make it _work._ Clara, remember, is a teacher with a spirit of adventure and a fondness for Jules Verne. What's more, although 1985 would be a time to which she would be _utterly_ unaccustomed, she would have a couple willing guides to help her figure it out. So let's not be so quick to _dismiss_ this possibility.

9:33 Ehm - so his mother who married into the McFly family AND The grandmother who presumably ALSO married into the family, rather than being born a Mcfly, look exactly like one another - That gene pool must be a puddle.

Because of your appreciation of music and quirky humor, you should totally check out Guardians of the Galaxy! You'll love it! FYI that you don't have to know anything about the Marvel Cinematic Universe to enjoy it.

The hillbilly band that played at the festival are quite a famous group from the 70s/80s called ZZ Top (pronounced zee zee top). Maybe you can check some of their music out on your other channel now that you've seen this?
