Doctor Emmett L. Brown: First, you turn the time circuits on. This readout tell you where you're going, this one tells you where you are, this one tells you where you were. You imput the destination time on this keypad. Say, you wanna see the signing of the declaration of independence, or witness the birth or Christ. Here's a red-letter date in the history of science, November 5, 1955. Yes, of course, November 5, 1955.

Looks great. The time circuits display from BTTF is great. My only complaint/concern is how could you go back before the year “0000” if there’s no non-number buttons?
@scottkohrherr1663 Жыл бұрын
Short answer; you can't! This is a replica of what was used in the film, and is copied to what appears on screen. Apparently, Doc Brown didn't take that into account. One other thing; practically speaking, there was no year 0000. What it really should be is 1 BC, which was followed by 1 AD.

@@scottkohrherr1663 Okay. Thank you for explaining. And yes, I’m aware that that’s exactly how it was in the films. I am finding no fault with what’s in this video or its makers.

Scott this is great, where do you get this from??

Hi Alpesh! You can get this kit, and all info about it, from circuitsetup.us

@@scottkohrherr1663 thanks Scott - I'm no Electrician / expert, I simply want to buy that finished product - sell me yours? 😏
@scottkohrherr16632 жыл бұрын
@@alpeshu LOL sorry; it's not for sale. Honestly, you don't need to be an electrician; the circuit boards all come pre-assembled, so it's just a matter of hooking everything up with the supplied wire harnesses. The bulk of the work for me was sanding and painting the 3D-printed ABS enclosures; that was the most time-consuming part of the project. (If you opt to get the optional aluminum enclosures, then it's super easy to put together; just the harnesses and some screws and you're done!) Check out the website if you haven't already; you'll see how easy it is!

One thing: if I input my destination time with the date, how do you input the time after it.
@scottkohrherr1663 Жыл бұрын
This has a couple of different modes that allow you to display different things, but in its base configuration, I have it working like a clock, which is displaying the current time in the center (green), while it will randomly display Destination and Last Time Departed times that were significant within the movies (red and yellow). When you input the destination time, it will display in the Destination Time, and when you invoke a time travel, your destination time will now move to the current time (now keeping accurate clock time with the new destination time), while what was previously listed as Current Time moves to Last Time Departed. It has also been set that about 30 minutes after a time travel event, it will reset to the present Current Time in the middle again (the time frame is configurable). Hope you like it!

What happens if you input incorrect date or time? For example ,if you enter 13/89/0011/65/67 what's gonna happen?
@scottkohrherr166311 ай бұрын
Excellent question! If you input an incorrect date/time code, the software will reject it; it makes two short buzzer-like sounds. The display will then go back to what was previously there.

Are these difficult to assemble?
@scottkohrherr16632 жыл бұрын
Not particularly; it's fairly straight-forward. Pretty much just a matter of attaching some wire connectors and screws. The most time-consuming part of this was the painting of the enclosures (I had the ABS printed version). Of course, that whole process can be eliminated if you get the aluminum version; then it's just assembling the parts together. Hope this helps!

@@scottkohrherr1663 so no actual wiring just plugging things in mostly and screwing the unit together?
@scottkohrherr16632 жыл бұрын
@@RetroGamerKnee Yes. The circuit boards come pre-assembled, so you just need to connect them to each other using wire harnesses with Molex connectors, which are all supplied in the kit. You can visit the circuitsetup.us website for more information.
