Glad you found the deloran Bruno, explains your time travel footage and budget wise still doing good for morphicon 2026 ( Darrel I will have your level of excitement when I go ). And Mia I still blame Bruno for getting you guys lost in the desert of despair. Ps i know what big bang theory episode has the Vazquez rocks Bruno ( episode title slipped my mind though) the one where Sheldon and the guys are dressed like star trek next generation and are carjacked while cosplaying at the rocks. Also the JDF banner in the background of powermorphicon made me tear up a bit.

This is the 7th video of roughly 40 potential trip videos, but KZbin keeps nagging me that these are barely appealing to any of our regulars. This is the worst engagement we've seen since 2010. Hope more people will start clicking and thumbing. I'd like to keep posting, but it's in the hands of viewer engagement. Pretty soon I'm going to have to get back to other work/projects if we can't get some more people watching.

I do understand all the reasons for moving to patreon but I do miss you guys on here. I spent so long watching and following you it's like missing a good friend. Kinda weird saying that I guess when we know you and you don't know us. Thanks anyway for posting some vids back on here.
@DividedAsOneАй бұрын
I certainly appreciate that. If it were up to me every video would be public and we'd post every week. Same as I tell people on the other channel, "Support what you love." Viewer engagement decides how frequently we're able to post over here. A lot of people miss us when we're gone, but I can't seem to communicate these calls to action to keep us here. A simple thumbs up gives KZbin necessary feedback. Watching, liking, and commenting are all totally free ways to support this channel and we have more than enough active subscribers to sustain this channel. We also have Patreon, and more than enough regulars to fund this channel for an entire year if they joined even for one month ($5) and then cancelled. I get not everyone has $5 for Patreon, but the thumbs up button is free. These travel videos I'd say have averaged 30 hours of editing. We're turning 17 in early December on the other channel. I'd say by now we should have proven to viewers we're committed to showing up regularly, making the best videos two people can reasonably turn out... people gotta show up though. Meaningful support for this channel ranges from free to $5. Wish more people would consider thumbing up some of these videos.
@bensalmon2073Ай бұрын
@DividedAsOne you'll always get a thumb up from me. Here's hoping finances improve and I can come join on patreon

It’s different water that makes differences in pizza. They had an episode about it on food theory
@DividedAsOneАй бұрын
They always talk about water, but there's so much more. Some of the pizza in CA is just so drastically different, but some places are able to get close. The thing that seemed a little off here was the sauce. The next place we went to in Pasadena was really good, and I think I could have been fooled if you told me it came from the east coast. There are fancy places in Brentwood, Santa Monica, and those areas that say they have the water flown in, and it's still nowhere close. It's looking more like an excuse people who can't make good pizza use, especially having gone to these two places in Pasadena, with the first being very close, and the second being really good east coast pizza.

Interesting how you can just go to old houses from famous films
@DividedAsOneАй бұрын
Many of these places still exist. How happy the homeowners are to have guests may vary by resident, of course. Now that I think about it, the clock tower did burn down in that fire at Universal, didn't it. 😕 That's a shame. That was part of their tram ride when you did the back lot tour.

Was that skit something you did spontaneously?
@DividedAsOneАй бұрын
All of the live action stuff I'm figuring out literally as I hit record. Didn't go there with a single idea, other than not wanting to be wearing Spider-Man for what I knew would be a PR skit. That's my brain. Mia's the opposite. When we're doing something that involves animation or she's doing VFX, she likes to have a storyboard and know exactly what we're doing.
@000ChargerАй бұрын
@DividedAsOne Until now I thought you set up everything in advance.
@DividedAsOneАй бұрын
@@000Charger I'm better with just doing vs planning things out. I go to wherever, look around, then figure out what the story is. We didn't know we'd run into the PMC tour buses, but we did, saw them leaving, and then ran over to get footage of that. Figured there's a skit. We're on the tour, get left in the desert, Eagle Zord picks us up. That's my intro for the MMPRtoys PMC video. We filmed a handful of other things while there, sometimes we use it all, sometimes I'll come back to things years later. There's still lots of stuff we never used. In the last MMPRtoys video I repurposed a video I shot with Edgar almost 12 years ago that was to be for a DVD featurette but ended up being cut.

Great video Bruno, it’s crazy how many shows and movies were filmed in one location, we’re watching the 60’s Batman show and I haven’t seen that location yet but I know it was used for the show. They also shot Star Trek at Vazquez Rocks when Kirk fought the Gorn. California looks beautiful, but I’m glad y’all are happier in Pennsylvania it’s also really cool how someone made a Toqger train set using your video.👍🚊🚞
@DividedAsOneАй бұрын
Star Trek is the number one thing non-PR fans think of when they see the rocks. Pretty sure we re-enacted that scene in an old vlog. It should be listed in my TV show scroll in this video. It was also Bedrock in the live action Flintstones movie. Tons of productions have filmed thee, commercials too. 60s Batman filmed around our old house. We went to a Batman location in the previous vlog (which of course was also Power Rangers). We enjoy California a lot more as visitors. There are certain areas in CA that are very beautiful. PA's been a much better fit for us though. Yeah, I was really happy and surprised to see Shamus saw that video and went out and made his own train set. ☺
