Raya, I tried a New York bagel recipe I found online, they are not hard to make and they turned out very good. I made them several times. They are just time consuming, take about 2.5 hours to make. A good recipe for when you get the craving in Brighton.

Definitely Thomson Square bagels are great and they have good tofu cream cheese. Also, you must try Orchard Grocer next time. It is a vegan grocery store with excellent breakfast sandwiches, the best!!! Then lunch and dinner - Spicy Moon!
