Only dad left the rest of his family stayed. I’m on my way up there today so I will find all about it later. Yes you are correct many left in 54. Many of the Northern Pho stores here in HCMC have that common story of leaving in 54 to the South. I visited 3 famous ones yesterday as part of my 10.
