Without the proper moisture barrier between the concrete and wood sill plate moisture will wick up into the walls

We used a heavy layer of water proofing for the capillary break and adhesive underneath for air seal. Keep in mind that this isn’t our house so what is used is not our decision to make. Thanks for watching!
