Sailing close to coast going eastbound, to take the inshore channel and avoid any overfalls that might be there, even on a fairly quiet day.

Great video, such stunning coastline. Can we have more of the theory on passage planning and it’s execution. I’m studying coastal theory and these videos really help! Look forward to the next one 👍

Hi On the passage planning part of your video you used the Admiralty Tidal Streams Atlas . The book with the tide time's in is by who ?. New subscriber and very much liking your videos.

It’s the “reeds almanac” for the uk, Amazon / eBay are your best bet to find a cheap one and they are published every year. You can also just get one for just the English channel if you want to save a few ££ Thanks for watching!

Have a look at the 'front' end of the chain ferry. When it is about leave they raise a black ball just above the driving position. Enjoyed the video as always, thanks
