Working on break the skill down, Starting with the good leg on mat for support while the athlete is learning how to back bend on one leg. In this video she could have arch a little more to finish with her hands closer to her feet. After they finish the back bend I then have them do 5 kicks focusing on pointing that toe and keeping the knee tight while the kicking action is happening. Also working back bend and front limber technique on the wall. My athlete was a little far from the wall and when she was walking her hands back up her toes were coming off the ground plus she became lose but I was happy to see her looking at her hands and finishing with the arms up. Remember it’s all about progress, practice makes progress 👍🏿
