IT....IS.....FINISHED! It took a lot of hours, sweat, and hard work but it was all worth it. This video shows the completed course and a closeup of holes 11 thru 18. You will need to go back to part 1 on the channel to see holes 1 thru 10 in detail and why we did what we did.
Everything came out great and we couldn't have done it without the help of so many other people....The crew from Manhattan was clutch and Red Beard also put in a lot of hours to make this thing a memorable place.
If you have any questions about how we did anything, just throw it in the comments. I hope this inspires some of y'all to do something like this on your own. Make sure to subscribe so you don't miss out on any cool future stuff.
Thanks for watching and we will see you on the next adventure.
Be blessed!

wow! starts straightforward but just keeps developing as you go along into some great holes & challenges in a very compact layout. well done! it'd be great to see a game played through on this. what's the overall par for a game? i've cleared & built an 18-hole guerrilla minigolf course on a local disused island that goes up & down cliffs as it winds its way around in the dirt & over & around rocks, playing as much as possible with the topological features for channels, ramps, downslopes & cups (a split in a rock, a goose nest, a hollow end of a downed hydro pole). not a lot of structure-building but there's a huge metal sign bent into a ramp to send you up over a cliff, an eavestrough jump over a pit, & a rail up into a tree & pipe that drops you down onto a plinko board with a variety of possible outcomes that all end in a raised hole. want to incorporate a loopdeloop somewhere & some mystery piping. thanks for showing this/these (yes, watched both in full) & i'm really gladdened to find that they don't suck atall: well done! are you really going to pass it along?

Wow!! Thanks so much for all the kind words. This has been a pretty awesome addition to our neighborhood. We really only thought we would have it for a year or so but this will be our 4th year. It has been a blast. As soon as the weather warms up a little I will make another video of us playing out the whole course.

@@nocoastangling i look forward to seeing a full playthrough! looking forward, too, to winter's end so i can get to work on tweezing our island course (Lumpy Littleput). i'm still hauling large stones over for borders & recently found a flexible tube i can use to better join the rail to the plinko board but there's still a foot of snow in the way of actully getting to work. no platforms, it's all on cleared dirt paths (except the plinko hole) with lotsa stone obstructions so there's no advance clearing with a shovel! by the way, i like the sign you made a hell of a lot: am a big fan of utilizing random chance, as you did with the backing sheet of plywood to spray the border pieces. looks great!

@nocoastangling
@nocoastangling 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! We painted all the wood and figured the carpet glue would also help protect the top. We made sure to drill holes in the top of the playing surface to help drain as well but that’s really it. We don’t get a ton of rain in southwest Kansas and I just figured if it lasts a year or 2, I’m good with that. 🤷🏻‍♂️ so far it has held up amazingly. Thanks for watching. 👊🏻
