I think NE doesn't do justice to Moon anymore, point being - sometimes I think he'd do much better with another race. Maybe he should practice playing with the Warden a lot more, playing with her requires so much skill but she is the tide changer for NE right now I think...

Game2, why 2 necropolis?

Because 120 sent his first ghoul to harass Moon's Ancient of War. Necropolis don't cost any lumber, but still provide 10 additional pop space, like a ziggaurat. As a small side point, it also gives 120 the possibility to train acolytes during tech, if he gets harassed.

120 left so many units on like 10 hp if he picked them of the supply difference wouldn´t be so huge at the endgame.

nearing the end of the epic game2, if 120 hid his last acolyte in the spawn spot of the red spot, he can sneak the acolyte back to his main base for a zigarate (he had enough wood!!!), while moon's army were attacking his last home base. Such a pity he played so well, deserving to come back for a 2:0, except he lost the Alchemist for that brief minute (instead of killing the webbed faries, he should have chased down the alchemist for the kill. After such a huge momentum swing to Moon, it is only natural 120 is a bit flat-tired for the rest of the game...

@@edis7865 Actually he did. He had 188 gold and 123 lumber by the time his last necropolis was attacked. If he hided the acolyte somewere near cursed land he could build something, a crypt for example. I think 120 decided to move his acolyte closer to cursed land (ex main base), but - bad luck - he chose wrong route and bumped into the alchemist.

Go ahead and try to Mass dryad against ud. See what happens. Moon was double 120s supply in game 4. And game 3 was pure domination.

The matchup here is weird in that it is either won or lost by the NE expansion. NE has no counter to piercing until tier 3, so they have to get a substantial army size advantage in hippo/fairies or dryads to beat fiends. The game is usually won or lost before the "massed" unit even shows up.

The match-up is imba in favor of Ud. This is why Ne needs expo. Impossible to beat Ud with 1 base. This is why he expanded and massed up 1 or 2 units. Even pros says that Ud is way superior to Ne.
