Kevin, your skill sets as a pilot and teacher are phenomenal. Obviously your entrepreneurial skills are at a level I can only match with my "spellcheck" abilities. Thank you also for your ground breaking artistic ability. I guarantee Trent is proud of you too. Greatly appreciated. You and your friends are outstanding individuals but as a group you are absolutely awesome. Thank you again. Stearman. Dude! Kickin'!

Thank you for the video. Always nice to see the Stearman being flown. Great memories of seeing them flying around near Chicago years back. Take care - be safe - hope the family and you are doing well. 'Spin'

Your Vlogs are pure, true, honest and demonstrate your considerable investment in your skilled safe STOL and backcountry flying. They set you apart from and way above many others who just pump out polished recycled sponsored content. Your integrity and your talents are exceptional, and that makes your Vlogs so fascinating. Your love of flying and safely taking on amazing places is what you do,. So you strap on some cameras, and share the purity with the rest of us. Just beautiful! Thank you, Sir!

Always love your videos Kevin!! That opening shot was sweet with the startup. You got to give us some more close-ups of this bird! She is a pristine work of art! I’m stoked to see some footage of that Alaska helicopter operation! I miss flying helicopters like crazy! I was training for a career as a helicopter pilot a few years ago, did the private and instrument, but unfortunately the day I passed my commercial checkride was my last day flying helicopters. I had to put it on “pause” to take care of my kids, and unfortunately never got to go back. I’ve gotten to fly a lot of different aircraft types but helicopters were for sure my favorite!

To all the Flying Cowboys, please post your starter airports, headings and GPS locations of these wonderful places. All of us stuck on the ground with MSFS 2020 would like to recreate these flights. If only in our dreams. Plus it would be neat if one of you with loudspeakers on their plane could make the sound effects of the Futurama spaceship landing when you land!

Awesome footage Kevin. I have got to get a Insta 360. Curious...how many flight hours do you have...I know you said at one point over 12,000 in tail wheel planes alone. I imagine with other types of planes and Helis you're up there.

Kevin, which lake was that you were flying around? It looked like the water level was seriously down...

Great video as always. Since you asked, I am actually also interested in your heli flying, despite my bias towards taildraggers. Seems like the ultimate back-country machine, you can land literary anywhere? Do you have any POV videos from your heli operations in AK? or from CA or NV?

Hey Kevin! I love your playground I watch them all and Trent's too. I want to become a big wheel pilot. If I do, I will fly across the country to shake your hand. I want to relocate to the west. I'm in North Woods of NH

Kevin: I have always enjoyed your flying videos, but perhaps not this one this time. You really have to lose that overused 360º camera! I appreciate that it has some remarkable technological features in it and it's a brand new toy, but it's footage is mostly distorted, dizzying, and nauseating, ...and I really don't enjoy fast-forwarding to more normal clips. But thanks anyway for your other videos and all you have done for the STOL community. I think the only thing more obnoxious than that 360º is KZbin's new "Skip-ad" interruptions (Now that's really obnoxious!) Anyway, thanks again.
@Ryan-sw3km4 жыл бұрын
First off, I don't know how you think the 360 is distorted, maybe try viewing in a higher resolution, but it looks crystal clear for me. I also don't see how it could nauseous or dizzying as it basically looks like a camera on a gyro would. Shouldn't look dizzying otherwise you may need to see a doctor about that. It really is one of the only ways to show the pure terrain and angles, and I think it gives a new look to his flying, and I love it. Not cool of you to compare his great footage with an annoying yt feature, not cool dude. You should honestly not be so pessimistic, stop finding everything you hate about something and find something great to comment about. Not a great attitude to have. Great stuff Kevin, looking forward to what comes next!

I left the video at 45 seconds - I just can stand it when the video is taken with a cell held like a your talking and not like a camera. Ending up with this very narrow view.
